I was surprised by the small section with nuts, bars, some medications, etc. just the kind of thing you might need when traveling.
A short walk from a number of hotels, I highly recommend you stop by if you are looking for breakfast, of a fresh and tasty lunch.
Both indoor and outdoor seating is available as well as takeout.
I happen to be on a 4 day layover in LA my usual hotel was overbooked so I ended up in the Sonesta Hotel (Crowne) LAX.
If you have ever done a lot of traveling you know that not having a car can make 5 mins drive feel very far.
I didn’t feel like eating poor hotel voucher breakfast food so I went to Google maps and typed “Brunch and TopRated”
It spat out this place.
I figured “why not, its close and they’ve got a great review”
I walked on over to a surprisingly…Um… “quaint” “unimpressive” exterior, remember I thought this place was a Brunch restaurant.
I walk in and I realize its a “kwiki mart” you know,,, those stores that are kinda everything. They sell deli food, coffee, chips, all sorts of drinks, bottled water etc.
As I walked in further I figured I’d be greeted in Spanish or Arabic by the store owner but no… I was greeted by Koreans.
Immediately I was full of naustalgia from my childhood. This place takes me back 30 years.
The two store owners seem very likable, they remind me of store owners that I saw decades ago. They are very polite, friendly, welcoming and you can honestly tell they own the place because they act the part of the owner.
They remind me of “Mr , Mrs Kim” from Kims Donuts back in the 90s.
I know what I just wrote might sound weird BUT in 2026,,, we seem to lack that old fashion friendly vib that TRIMANA offers.
You know… that.
“Hey Mrs Kim, can I have the egg burrito, doritos and a yoohoo, can I pay you later?”
In short. I like this place.
If youre near by LAX in the future, walk over and give them a try.
Do you have to take an airplane early in the morning? Are you jet lagged?
Perfect! So you can go at Trimana since it opens at 5am!!
A small place surrounded by all the big hotels in airport’s area, but full of good vibes!
The owners are super friendly, welcoming you with big smiles and serving fresh and good choices for a tasty breakfast!
There’s a relaxed mood in the place, with a lot of locals swinging by before starting their work day!
We will definitely come again 🙂
went here 2 days in a row because its really that affordable and a lot of choices!
yesterday i bought the bagel with eggs and cheese n bacon and it was good! costs me $7-+
today i bought the pancake combo (no. 9) and costs me $8-+ so good! they even gave me the whole bottle of syrup
i know it wont taste like a premium breakfast, but well.. rather than buying hotels bfast that costs a lot more.. why not?
would definitely come back here if im in LA!
10/10!
The ladies who run the front and make the sandwiches are so incredibly kind, funny and a genuine joy in the mornings. They have such a huge selection so you can’t go wrong.
They have salads, sandwiches, beef teriyaki and more. I can’t wait to try some other things here.
