Good food and nice service in Gypsum. Pretty spicy, so order mild if it’s your first time. Fish tacos were made fresh, but pico de gallo was so hot it kind of spoiled it. Ordered it mild. Smothered chili relleno burrito was huge and delicious. A pepper stuffed with cheese, battered and fried, stuffed into a burrito with beans and lettuce covered with green pork chili. A masterpiece. The Queso Fundidto was a good version of cheese dip.

I pulled off at Gypsum when I-70 was closed and was desperate for dinner – was lucky enough to stumble across this restaurant where I got a smothered chicken and onion burrito – delicious and HUGE and a great value. The guacamole looked delicious as well!

I wanted to like this place. Saw the reviews. But unfortunately this won’t be my go to. The young girl taking orders was really the only positive. I ordered the asada tacos plate which came with three healthy tacos but came across so much fat I could only eat one and a quarter. My daughter ordered the fish tacos. We’ve had our share of tilapia in California, but this fish had an awful taste to it (my duggter decribed it as it tasted like it had been in the trashcan, id have to agree). Let the older lady know she said it’s fish. I said fish shouldn’t taste like that. She took our plates gave me the bill. My plate was supposed to be $10 and my daughter $12, when I looked at the bill it said $15 for each. I told her that the price was incorrect. She stated that was their new price and just waiting on the new menu. I explained that they should have informed us when ordering. She went back and adjusted the price and basically tossed the receipt on the table and walked away. I paid and then she quickly walked over to get the paid receipt. Needless to say I gave a poor tip. Very unhappy customer. I had been there yesterday and bought their chorizo burrito which was amazing. And the guy who cooks is the one who took my burrito order. He was on top of it and pleasant. But tonight’s experience was bad. And to pay for something that wasn’t edible rubbed me the wrong way.

Rodrigo is super friendly and the food is great. We got breakfast burritos with sausage. The hot is quite hot but super flavorful! Definitely recommend. Call ahead if you’re in a big hurry.

We found this place by sheer luck . Google said it was closing at 9, we made it just before 9. The restaurant has homey vives with wonderful staff, excellent food and quiet environment. Our host Carmen was very professional, courteous and accommodating. Hands-down the best Mexican food I have eaten in Colorado.

Stumbled upon this place when we left the airport, so glad we did. The food is made fresh when you order; including the salsa, guac, and chips. Everything we had was delicious and prices were reasonable.
