The place was kind of dead when we got there, maybe because we got there on time for the brunch. The bartender Tiffany was sooo great. She was extra attentive and accommodating. The food was pretty good as well. We had 2 separate checks because Afro Taco cooked the meals aside from the restaurant. I enjoyed my time.

Visited Tribe Lounge this Saturday for the first time. First thing that caught my eye was the bottle girls. They were very appealing and full of personality! Even stopped by and danced with us lol. The royal blue outfits they had on complimented them so well. I enjoyed the food and the drinks were definitely worth it. Music kept me dancing the whole time and it was super clean. This just might be my new spot. We had so much fun!

My girlfriends & I love coming here for happy hour!! Relatively cheap drinks and AMAZING food. They have a very nice ambience & the staff is really friendly. I don’t dance but the music here always makes me want to bust a move. Will definitely be going back, highly recommended!

All around great vibes. Friendly staff, food was amazing and the music was well played. During the night, the crowd grew and the vibes were even better. Looking for a nice relaxed atmosphere or a lit situation this is the perfect place. Definitely going back ! Oh and the beef suya and Mac and cheese was cooked to perfection !

I love it here. Everyone is so welcoming and friendly. The food is amazing ! I recommend the beef suya and Mac. The DJ is on point and keeps the crowd going all night long. The drinks are made perfect; not watered down or too strong for a good price! It’s a perfect spot if you just want to eat, want a quick drink after work , or even celebrate your birthday ! I like how they have different things going on for each day such as Karaoke Tuesday and even dance classes! Plenty of places to sit. Reasonable cover charge. Even the bathroom is clean lol. What’s there NOT to like about Tribe? New fav spot for sure.

The parking in this area is difficult so we had to walk far. Then the were a lot of steps to the entry so ladies don’t wear heels if you go here. We had to pay a cover to go in. I was so disappointed once inside because the place was empty. It was not lively at all. The wait for suya was extremely long. Especially considering they gave such a small portion served in a little serving dish for $10. The presentation was terrible. Was not appealing at all. The drinks were ok. The music was ok. There were 2 out of shape and unattractive girls in orange swimsuits walking around drinking and smoking hookah. Not sure what the purpose was. It added nothing to the ambiance and it wasn’t like they were servers or dancers. I was unimpressed and probably wouldn’t go back.

I absolutely loves everything about this place, the place looks so clean and beautiful. The men restroom is so big and clean. It is by far the best African Lounge in Jersey and the closed at 4am the night I was there. They have one of the best Suya I’ve had in a long time. I’ve told so many people about the place and my boys and I are going back this weekend to celebrate my boys divorce .. She was a witch ♂️ ♂️

A boy that goes by the name of “Junie” keeps harassing me. On the Wednesday night of April 28th between 11:20 and 11:29pm he left the VIP section to dance around me and beside me by the bar facing the DJ. I then moved so that he would not touch me in purpose. Then when I moved he couldn’t see me but I could see him searching for me. I text someone to form a time stamp so that I could form a police report. This person is now accusing me of bothering them, trying to flip the script! The police would like the clip that matches that time stamp. I want to go back to this bar as I like it despite the scary person that keeps bothering me. I would like the bar to help me and the police with there investigating! Thanks greatly appreciated!
