This is my first time visiting this establishment. Although I have heard of it and passed by many times over the years, I finally made it here. Let me tell you about this cozy little place! Our server, Maeve, greeted us warmly as we arrived, ready to indulge in some delicious vegan eats after a friend’s high recommendation. I brought another friend along, who had also been here before. This place exudes quintessential Philadelphia style with its rich history, dating back to 1933 when it first opened as a local Italian bar. After closing its doors in 2008, it was resurrected in 2015 by the same owners of Kyber Pass, much to my delight. I was pleasantly surprised to find retro timepieces adorning the walls, along with celebrity pictures adding a nice personal touch to the ambiance.

Maeve, our server, was exceptional. She guided us through the menu with expertise, offering suggestions and accommodating any substitutions we desired. The Eagles crowd added to the lively atmosphere, as we settled in for the local game. Our order included the vegan Philly cheesesteak with fried onions and mozzarella (substituted for whiz), deep-fried artichokes with lemon aioli, polenta with marinara, vegan wings, and chickpea curry soup. To top it off, we enjoyed a cake slice from one of Bethlehem, PA’s favorite vegan bakeries.

Our food arrived promptly, and while the cheesesteak was good, it was not the best I’ve had. A bit greasy, but that’s to be expected with cheesesteaks. The flavors seemed slightly diluted due to the excess oil, impacting the overall taste. Nevertheless, it was satisfying and the rest of the meal was absolutely impeccable. We ended up taking leftovers home, appreciating the exceptional service and quality food provided by such establishments.

I am already looking forward to my next visit to the Triangle spot, this is a close second to Kyber Pass which remains my favorite nighttime bar offering vegan delights. Keep up the fantastic work!

WOW! What a place. I’m a vegetarian and have always wanted to try a vegetarian Philly cheesesteak. Saw this place recommended on Reddit and the commenter was 100% right. The cheesesteak I got was so good and also still tasted messy like it was made in the back of a food truck. The plant based wings were also really delicious.

Only slight complaint is that music was pretty loud but it did kinda help create a fun atmosphere.

Absolutely brilliant vegan options! The wings are my fave in Philly and I come every time I visit the city. Bar staff are super nice and the food comes out pretty quick. Parmesan and spicy broccoli also excellent , as is the novelty of getting a vegan white pizza!

I came in tonight to order a roast beef sandwich with sharp provolone and broccoli rabe. When I got my sandwich they forgot to add the cheese, got sent back to the kitchen and brought out a new sandwich. However, it was roast pork. I told the server that they made a mistake, he went to the kitchen a d they told him it was beef. I know what pork tastes like, but at this point I was hungry and didn’t want to wait for another sandwich. I was comped the meal, and they def made sure to take care of the issue. Other than that, the place is great. Good atmosphere and crowd. Service was top

Just moved to Philly, tried the Vegan CheeseSteak and a Special Cocktail and Red Wine, all fabulous, already craving to comeback. The Bartender was super kind, and everything was perfect.

Went here for a late dinner around 10:30 pm on a Saturday night and was able to get seated right away. The restaurant is great because it has a lot of vegan options in addition to traditional bar fare.

I had the vegan buffalo elote, which is hard to find, the vegan crab cake sandwich and the flores rosada to drink. I should mention both the corn and crab cake were on the “specials” menu.

My friend had the chicken wings, roast beef sandwich and Long Island ice tea and peroni beer to drink.

The corn was fantastic. I barely spoke a word while eating it. The crab cake was also tasty. It had an interesting texture as it was deep fried on the outside, but the inside was pretty soft. I’d never had a vegan crab cake like that before. The Flores Rosada seemed to be watered down. I didn’t taste any alcohol.

My friend said half the wings were fried right and the other half weren’t hard enough. He really enjoyed the roast beef sandwich. He said he typically prefers gravy instead of au jus but enjoyed this sandwich.

We ordered 2 vegan carrot cakes to go. They were pretty dense and didn’t give me the true carrot cake feel.

All in all I would come here again, especially when in need of late night food.

Tons of vegan food, quick service and friendly folks. Place is tiny, but it adds to the charm IMHO.

Got the vegan cheesesteak but made it vegetarian by adding sharp cheddar, and got the broccoli rabe. The cheesesteak was good, but not great. It needed to be filled up with more of the seitan and too much cheese overpowered it. Could use some umami seasoning to give it that “meat” flavor. Would be better would a nice roll too – crispy on the outside and soft inside. The broccoli rabe stole the show with nice garlic notes and not too much bitterness.

Amazing vegan wings. Probably the second best I’ve ever had. The Seiten textures are spot on. The nooks and crannies of the Seiten gets tones of sauce on it and the thicker parts are super jucy while the thinner ones are chewy. We got the half and half option – spicy and BBQ. Both were good in their own way and if we had only gone with one option we might have gotten a little tired of it so the split was good. That’s the other thing, there are tones of wings. Put that together with the amount of sauce and it filled up both of us even though we were pretty hungry.

The outside seating is nice with good weather and much quieter as well. The staff was fast and friendly as well. We will definitly be back.
