The slices to -go were not anything special. A whole fresh pizza could be a different experience. I’m a fan of pizza, so they did the job.
The bagels were pretty good. Nice texture and chew. Would have liked to have one of each style they make. The cream cheese smear wasn’t generous but enough to enjoy.
Easy to find location, plenty of onsite parking.
Additionally, I don’t love kiosk ordering when the shop is empty, it takes away from the personality of the store.
Good bagels if you’re passing by, but I wouldn’t make this my destination if bagels are my goal.
I ordered a Baker’s Dozen from their self-order tablet (confirmed to be 13 bagels on the menu) and (2) 6oz containers of cream cheese for a total bill of $33.90. I tipped 10%.
I selected my 13 bagels (of which 3 of my selected flavors were up-charged .50 cents each) and then verbally requested that my bagels be sliced.
When my order printed out behind the counter, it printed at the same time as the second customer who arrived after me. The server seemed a little confused, and I let her know that I was Order No. 8 from my screen confirmation. This seemed to be helpful and she began picking my bagels. I stepped aside so that I didn’t hoover around the counter.
My wait was not overly long, but when the server called my name and handed me my bag, she didn’t have my receipt. When I asked if she had my receipt, she said “no.” I explained that I needed my receipt for a work expense. She asked the worker in the back if he had my receipt, and he also answered no. The other customer waiting said, “I have No. 8, I thought it was a little strange for my order”. I thanked him, thanked the staff, gathered my receipt from that customer, and departed.
When I arrived at work to unpack the bagels, I discovered that I had only received 12 of my “Baker’s Dozen”. Completely frustrating – especially since I was up-charged for 3 of the flavors I ordered. They shorted me a bagel and now that I’m work, I can’t exactly drive back for my (1) missing bagel.
This business was not worth my time or hassle. I won’t be returning there again.
I suggest you count your bagels and check your order thoroughly BEFORE leaving – and make sure you have your receipt if you decide to give them your business.
