Wasn’t too crowded on a Sunday night at 5:00. Music moderately loud and a few tvs with sports on. Service was friendly and fast. Joel was attentive and friendly with our toddler. They have high chairs, booster seats, and a kids menu. Portions are generous! Large bar selection. Coco loco margarita was STRONG but delicious. They made some decor updates since we were last here. We will be back again!

Probably one of the best Mexican restaurants that I have eaten at. Had the Cadillac margarita, it was amazing. Ordered the Melty chimichanga. Food came out quick and it was delicious. If I’m ever up this way again, I’ll be back. Highly recommended!

I’d have to say this is one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve ever been to. The atmosphere and decor is very welcoming and modern, not your typical Mexican restaurant style. Our waitress, Veronica, was wonderful. All the staff there seem very friendly and accommodating. The food is outstanding. No soggy, greasy tacos or dried out rice here. Everything came out hot and fresh. I had the grilled chicken bowl and it was amazing. Portions were good. Even the plates the food comes out on are absolutely beautiful. I live about an hour a way from this restaurant but will make it a point to eat here anytime I’m in the Medina area.

Went here for lunch the other day with my family. Place is so small the staff sit in the dining area, also because there was hardly any business during what should’ve been a busy lunch time. Staff was literally staring at us while we ate which was super uncomfortable. The bar area is small and cramped. The men’s room, the urinals are damn near on the ground like you’re a little kid and almost impossible to use. The sink is so high pressure the water went everywhere. Food was decent, but the gigante burrito with steak and chorizo was awful. The steak pieces were tough, overcooked and rubber. I was barely half way through eating it before I stopped, just inedible. Music was way too loud, and just because it’s a Mexican restaurant doesn’t mean you need to blast the music no one can understand. Makes for an awkward time trying to talk over the volume. Don’t think we’ll be coming back again.

My husband and I went to Tres Potrillos Restaurant in Medina and unfortunately had a very disappointing experience.
We ordered one chicken fajita, one steak fajita, and two beers. Instead of the steak fajita, they brought us shrimp fajita. We had to return it and wait for the correct dish to be brought out.
When the bill arrived, we noticed they had added a bottle of Cabernet wine, which we never ordered or drank. After we pointed this out, they corrected the bill. However, the second bill then included a $2 credit card fee that was never mentioned to us beforehand.
On top of that, the menu prices at the restaurant were different (higher) than the prices listed on their website, which was another unpleasant surprise.
Between the incorrect food order, misleading pricing, and billing mistakes, the experience felt uncomfortable and unprofessional. It honestly seemed like they were trying to take advantage of us. Because of this, we would not recommend this restaurant.

Just wow. We picked this place at random – we were going to a different restaurant nearby, but the wait for tables there was too long. We looked across the road, saw this place, and thought, “let’s go there.” Boy, am I glad we did!
Everyone from the greeters to the servers to the bus people were friendly and helpful. Our waitress continually came back with a smile and was just so nice. But the huge surprise was the food! Everything, I mean absolutely everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. My wife had the chef’s special, which was so good she told them that they should add it to the menu. My tacos were delicious, the chips and salsa were wonderful, and the guacamole is some of the best that I’ve ever had.
The food came out very quickly, and we did not feel rushed – quite the opposite. It was a relaxed, casual environment and felt like a friendly, family-run restaurant.
We will definitely be back!

Best birthday ever! My husband & I stopped in here yesterday for lunch for my birthday. It wasn’t too busy at it was a week day and around later in the lunch hour. It was beautiful outside and we were allowed to sit on their beautiful patio area. Our server was kind & we got guacamole and salsa to start. The guacamole was very fresh! I ordered the grilled chicken burrito bowl and when I tell you this was the freshest Mexican food I’ve ever tried! It was amazing! My husband ordered the street tacos & they were equally as fresh & delicious! I literally ate every bite & I seldom do that! It’s a bit of a drive from us but we plan to come back whenever we are in the area!
