I love this place! Best chips and salsa I have possibly ever had. Regular and roasted salsa perfect with those chips. I appreciate a place that has vegan items and designates so on the menu. I go with vegan fajitas and love the , , zucchini, cauliflower mix. Value alert on the lunch menu and worth every penny on dinner menu (usually lunch next day as well). Thank you, Tres and awesome staff! Always make it a fun and delicious experience. Also… I’ve seen some of the same staff since I was a kid which is so nostalgic and awesome .

The food and atmosphere with their service was all fantastic. We’ve been to a lot of Mexican restaurants in the Salt Lake Valley and this by far was the best one we have been to. The Chile Relleno was so delicious the flavors were great the Chile was not runny or liquefied like a lot of the other places. The rice was flavorful and the beans were not the beans straight out of the can there was effort put into the meal. With that it definitely had the best tasting food. The menu had the right amount of options for lunch and it was an overall great first visit.

Been here a few times but won’t be coming back. I was there during lunch time and saw that they had my favorite item on the lunch menu. Clearly stated on the lunch is that all dishes come with rice and beans or a side salad. I ordered the vegan fajitas. When it came out, there was no rice. No big deal I thought, he must have forgotten. So I politely let him know and he began to get very aggressive. He was quite literally arguing with me that that ONE dish on the entire lunch menu in fact does not come with rice. This obviously puzzled me and so I asked him why it stated that all lunch specials come with rice and beans. His only answer was that that one didn’t. Made no sense at all. I spoke to a supervisor in hopes of clearing their mistake up but sadly, she offered no additional context for the blatant misinformation of the menu. He ended up charging me $3 for a small cup of rice. Not about the money, it’s about the principle. Don’t advertise something on your menu that isn’t true and then attempt to make the customer feel like they’re in the wrong. On top of all this, he never filled our waters once or offered chips and salsa. He was very rude and lazy and they weren’t even busy as we were there in between meal times. We won’t be back. Sucks because we’ve had great experiences there before with the younger, more polite server. Steer clear of the middle aged heavy set grumpy server.

The food was good, but could have been better if the meat had a little more flavoring. I had item #13 Steaks Burrito. The service was okay. We ran out of drinks a few times with out getting refills. Overall I would go again.

I stopped by again for dinner about week later. Service was a lot better and the food was excellent. I had the chimichanga and it was amazing.

Okay, I’ll be honest. If you’re looking for authentic, real, Mexican food, this isn’t the right place for it. It’s heavily “Americanized” almost Tex-Mex cuisine. It’s related to Mexican food, but not really Mexican.
But I’m not saying that’s bad!! I thought it was very yummy. It’s a different style of food that many Americans will like, I also enjoy it as well. Food is food.
This place has been here for many years, I went here with my family after the festival next door had long lines for food vendors and we couldn’t wait. This definitely satisfied our hunger.
The service was excellent, I really appreciated the host and our server. They were very attentive and answered every question. Food was flavorful and had large portions.
Also the chips and salsa were 10/10 I would probably show up just to eat a serving of those.
I will probably not visit here often since I like a different style of Mexican food, but this is still a great restaurant, just not my preference.
The decor was fun too.

I loved the high ceilings on the place, and the ambiance was great!
The service was friendly.
The food is decently priced, but they somehow forgot to add flavor to their food. Very few times I’ve had more bland Mexican food.
Not a place I’ll be coming back to, unless someone else is paying my bill.

My daughter found this great Mexican restaurant on a date, so the three of us decided to try it. The atmosphere is awesome and feels warm and cozy. I see why she went on a date here.

We got here at about 9pm (Friday) and got right in and seated. Our waitress brought out the chips/salsa & our water.

I got the #5 combo with chicken and beef enchiladas and a beef taco ($16.50). My daughter got a Pina colada margarita and Mexico City tacos ($19.00). My wife got the #3 combo shredded beef enchilada and a taquito with guacamole ($14.50).

The service was pretty good, you could tell she was tired. I’m sure she worked a long shift, but she was still smiling. Like I said the atmosphere was really cool and felt authentic.

We all really like our food, so we’ll be coming back.

The food was hit or miss and overall just average. My husband and daughter liked the fajitas and my other daughter was pleased that the avocado salad had a lot of avocados. I had the mole, which wasn’t that great. I liked the blue corn tortillas, but the mole sauce wasn’t good. We also got a virgin margarita that was so watered down that you could barely taste the lime. Fortunately the waiter was great (and attentive) and brought me a virgin strawberry daiquiri to replace it. It was better, but a bit too sweet. The chips were warm and the salsa was really good. Overall, it was fine, but there are better options in the area
