This place is quickly becoming my favorite place for Mexican food. I would recommend everyone try this place at least once, I’ll bet you’ll come back a second time. It’s a simple place with a relaxing atmosphere. But that’s why I like it. They have a good sized menu and the service has always been great each time I have gone. I think they are reasonable priced for the portion size, which is a lot! You will get full eating here! I’ve had the Fajita Burrito, the pork carnitas plate and the chicken taquitos so far. One of these times I’m going to try the nachos. They look amazing based on the pictures from other people’s reviews. I’ll definitely be going back!

Ladies that work there are very nice. The atmosphere was great, we sat in a booth and it was clean and inviting. We had the Double Cheeseburgers and Fries and it’s the best burger in town!

Food came out pretty fast. It was good but nothing spectacular. Would I go back? That would be a yes, how often would be a question for a later day. I like this genre of food but have yet one that is exceptional. Mostly very good at best.

Tried this for the first time because I heard it was good. Ordered the Macho Burrito. Was super excited to try it. Opened it up and noticed the order was on a paper plate wrapped in tin foil. I’ve been to alot of Mexican restaurants all over, this is the tackiest thing I have seen. Never have had this happen. It’s always on a foam tray. This is really cheap and reflects poorly on the restaurant. The worst issue, the neat was pretty pink inside the burrito. I requested shredded beef. It should all be brown. So much of it was pink I didnt even wanna eat the burrito. Disgusting! Made me not even wanna eat at any Mexican restaurant anymore. Cannot believe this. Dont even go here. El Herradero is way better! Never have had an experience like this at El Herradero or anywhere else. I should have known from the order being put on a paper plate wrapped in tin foil that there was gonna be an issue. Tackiest thing I have ever seen.

Food is terrific, best in the Pocatello/Chubbuck area. Restaurant isn’t anything special, in fact it probably puts some people off for how little has been put into the decor.

Went in with my son for lunch. Asked to buy extra salsa. Something I have done before. The women was rude and wouldn’t sell it to me. When I asked for more to go with my food she said I had enough and wouldn’t accommodate us. Terrible experience. We will not be back.

The food is well priced and DELICIOUS! The service is pretty good. The building is a little hole in the wall, but the food and lower prices are worth the cramped space ❤️ My favorite is the enchilada and chile reinos lunch special.

The other day, when it was over 95 degrees, I got a real craving for authentic Mexican food so I did a quick search and found this place was close and had good reviews. I asked the Señorita behind the counter if I could order a chile relleno burrito WITH carne asada (even though it wasn’t offered on their menu). After mi pregunta was relayed to the kitchen, my request was granted and I was STOKED to get a favorite made especially for me with NO extra charge! ¡Muchisimos gracias por favor!

I visited today and ordered nachos. The size of the dish was very good for the price paid. The staff is super friendly and they check on you during your meal and offer extra chips and salsa. Customer service is excellent! See photos attached of my food. It was so big I could not finish it. It was fresh and tasty and the salsa is nice and chunky. Definitely worth a visit for a nicely priced lunch!
