My husband and I decided to try this place out for dinner after being in the area. I absolutely love this place! They have great prices and the portion sizes are huge. I can easily have a few meals out of one meal from there. Their cornbread that comes with the combo meal is amazing! The food is so good, the atmosphere is uplifting/happy, the staff are friendly and quick, excellent place all around. I highly recommend.

In town for a skating event. Randomly looked up restaurants near my hotel. Seeing their pictures and other reviews sold me. Upon arrival I was greeted right away. Everyone was friendly and wanted to make sure I was taken care of. The food was great. Now I’m not vegetarian, but I didn’t feel like eating any meat, so I had a vegetarian enchilada which came with rice and beans. They had a decent amount of options for vegetarians, now if you’re vegan I don’t know. I also ordered queso dip to go along with my chips. That queso had a good consistency and the regular salsa that came with the chips was good. The only thing I will say is the vegetarian enchilada said it came with avocado sauce on top, now I don’t know if I misread the menu or what but I’m pretty sure it said that, but when I got my food, the sauce on top was white. I believe it was queso. I informed the server. I saw him take the menu to the cook to discuss it. Soon after another server brought over freshly cut avocado. I think there may have been some confusion or maybe they realized their mistake and gave me the avocado as a substitution for the sauce. I love avocado so I’m not complaining, I made it work. The atmosphere was great. I went around 5ish on a Saturday and it was raining really hard so it’s probably why they weren’t busy at all. That being said, the noise level was very low even with a few groups nearby. Now the desserts were great. Whenever I go to Mexican establishments I usually order flan, but unfortunately I didn’t see it on the menu. I had a hard time choosing, so I ordered the churro cake to eat there and a tres leches cake to go. That warm churro spice cake paired with the ice cream and whipped cream was too good. It was really sweet though, but the ice cream helped to combat it. I enjoyed the tres leches cake 2 days later and it was really good. My food and dessert all came out in a timely manner. It also helps that they give chips and salsa automatically upon being seated. Whenever I come back to town for another skating event, I will definitely come back to this place, and hopefully bring others with me. I hope to try their fried ice cream next time around. Also before I forget, the portion size was good too. I was able to bring home leftovers.

The chips are crispy and the salsa is decent (a few little chunks of onion, which I enjoy). The queso had a great flavor and was the perfect consistency.

I got the Tacos Alhambre, which were good but could have used a touch more steak, but this could have been because I asked for pineapple to be added. Other than that, the mixture tasted great, but I also wish the tacos had been plated standing upright rather than open faced. (The open faced design meant that the tortillas got a little soggy from the filling mixture and fell apart, so I ended up using a fork and knife.)
My hubby got the enchiladas enmolada – 3 shredded chicken enchiladas with a mole sauce, black beans, and rice. The mole sauce had a good flavor but was a thin consistency – it would have been more flavorful if the sauce had been thickened.

Apache plate the best we are visiting IL, KS and MO from TX and we love this plate from here … the service was great just the waitress was like too dry and I think all waitress should be Know the menu we ask if the guacamole had chile and she didn’t know the atmosphere was ok some music was like sad Mexican music sad but well that plate was so good

I love their food, but there’s a couple staff members there who don’t listen. Last time I went there Ebony told me they don’t mark the containers to tell which is which. Made no sense to me. Instead me and my friend got the opposite food.
Today we went there and got the same thing we always get. Funny how this time a really nice lady took the order and understood. Everything was good until the one of the two staff members from last time. I handed the girl my money she put it on the counter and pretty much wanted me to pick it up of the counter. I will not giving these people anymore of my hard earned money. I could care less how good the food is. The staff plays a major part in that restaurant. Respect goes both ways.
BTW, the new lady was very nice, helpful and professional. So she gets 5 stars… Good job young lady…

Everything about this place screams love and authenticity. I am from California, and finding good Mexican or Latin American food has been a challenge over the last 8 years in the Midwest.
Looking at everyone’s photos and reviews made me feel this place would be pretty good So we gave it a try.
We ordered the appetizer platter, grilled shrimp A la carte, the quesadilla with black beans and Mexican rice from the kids menu for a little one, and a fried ice cream with lots of cherries. My daughter usually leaves food behind, but here she eat until she was full. She really enjoyed her food and her eyes were wide with excitement with every bite.

Everything was fresh and tasted good. Well seasoned, and timely. They were well staffed, and everyone seemed to enjoy working there. The staff stayed in top of things, helped each other out with no ego issues, and seemed to have long-standing connections with the regulars.
Every single chair was filled with someone, and when one table was clear, another party sat down. The staff didn’t rush anyone to finish, and outside of the large number of staff and customers, you wouldn’t know they were “busy”.
Most restaurants bring food out slow with the number of people there tonight, but not here. This seems to be normal here.

The food was outstanding. OMG. Directed there by a local municipal officer. They know the best places to eat. Did not disappoint. Large servings. I rarely don’t or can’t finish my food but I had lunch the next day from the box I brought home. Already recommended it to friends. Will be back. AWESOME!!!!

So you’re craving Mexican.. well you’ve come to the right place ! Very clean very spacious seating & even outdoor patio if you like & fun location. Many staples to choose from .. tacos, burritos, Guacamole & nachos to the traditional heart warming specials like enchiladas, carne asada & pollo asada plates. Great portion & greatvprices and more importantly great flavor! Super friendly server had great recommendations and mo one was disappointed . This is a definite must for a Margarita and appetizers or a great meal.

The Hawaiian Fajitas were absolutely amazing! Packed with bold and unique flavored steak, bacon, and shrimp. The addition of jalapeños gave it just the right kick, elevating the dish to another level. The portion size was generous—definitely enough to share. As a fajita lover I found this dish to be unique and delicious. Highly recommend!
