Went on a whim and it is fire. The food was incredible. Seafood burrito full of lobster, scallops, and shrimp. The margarita was great too. I’ve not been overly impressed with service since covid, but the staff were fantastic. Poured our salsa and pitcher of margaritas. Bagged the to go boxes at the end of the meal too. Happy hour specials every day (all day) but Friday. You’ve got to give this place a try, it’s next level.

This was our first time at Tres Amigos and it did not disappoint! We were met at the door and seated right away. Mario was our waiter and he did an excellent job. The House Margarita and Sangria were very good. Queso was so creamy and salsa was very tasty, starting our experience on a great note. The Chile Verde and Beef Enchiladas were wonderfully presented and both were some of the best we’ve had in Louisville. The Verde and Rojas sauces are also excellent. Ending with a yummy Cheesecake Burrito. Great happy hour, service, food and ambience. We will definitely be back.

The service was great, but since it was completely empty I suppose they had the time and energy to offer. That said, the food didn’t stand out and was a complete disappointment. The steak fajitas lacked sizzle (literally) and needed to be seasoned…a lot.

Really high quality Mexican cuisine! They’re really going above and beyond on presentation as well. I recommend the Steak Chimichurri and the Fajitas Molcajete. The meat was delicious & juicy. Also, their queso dip has a uniquely smokey flavor that balances well with the creaminess of the cheese. This restaurant is a worthy successor to the place it replaced, and perhaps even better because they don’t make you pay for chips & salsa like their predecessor.

I came in for lunch twice, each time the service has been amazing and we were in and out in less than 30 minutes, and their lunch menu is very reasonably priced. Which makes it a perfect place for lunch.

Stopped in for lunch with a co-worker. We were seated immediately. The restaurant has a modern feel and was very clean. We were brought chips and salsa, the salsa had a great flavor with fresh ingredients (not just your crushed tomato salsa). I ordered a burrito, the ground beef was flavourful and the queso had a good taste as well. My co-worker ordered a bowl and kept saying how good it was. I would recommend this place for lunch (or dinner). Well worth stopping in.
