I’ve eaten at a lot of Mexican places around middle Ga and keep returning to Tres Amigos because I haven’t had a bad experience yet and the food is on point. One of the best Mexican restaurants around. I’ll drive from Thomaston just to get Mexican food from here because the 2 in Thomaston don’t compare.

My daughter and I have been to this restaurant three times. First time we really liked it, that we found a place in Barnesville that we actually liked and made plans to come again. The second time we returned it was on a Tuesday evening it was crazy and noisy but we still got served and we decided it must be like a taco Tuesday kind of thing and it was just that kind of a noisy kind of atmosphere and we weren’t put off too badly that we wouldn’t return. However this evening we went and should have just left had to get our own menus took forever for them to come and find out what we wanted to drink and when I went to get the menus it took forever to get someone to acknowledge my existence. The first person told me the menus were on the desk and proceeded to walk away, there’s only one menu . Another person I asked he walked away and they proceeded to stand where I can see them and they can see me and talk to one another but they didn’t help me. I had to get a third person to help me finally had someone get our order they brought out the wrong drinks the wrong cheese dip took probably 45 minutes for the food to come out if not longer had to wait for more things for dinner couldn’t get refills couldn’t get acknowledged we had to flag someone down multiple times just to get their attention to get our check so we can leave it was a horrible experience and I won’t be returning. I can handle long waits but I can’t handle rudeness and being bluntly ignored you are restaurant owners and you rely on customers and being friendly and polite helping them out it goes a long way you know a simple, hi can I help you, those things are things I look for and it’s not just about good food I I look for good customer service as well

I should have left this review months ago! I get the exact thing every time I go, which is once almost every week. Grilled chicken quesadilla with peppers and onions. Lettuce, tomatoes, sour cream and guacamole on the side. I take everything out of the shell and mix with tajin seasoning. I crush some chips on top, then mix well with the sides. SO GOOD !!

Tres Amigos is laid back, clean, and the staff is quite personable. The food is reliably very good from visit to visit. Parking is just fine and right outside the front door, they have take out and ofc dine-in. They have busier moments on the weekends where waitstaff is super taxed sometimes so cool your heels if you have to wait an extra 2 minutes!! I have tried all the other Mexican restaurants in Lamar and Spalding county and this one is hands-down the best.
