Tried this place for the first time with my BFF here visiting from Illinois. We both enjoyed the food very much. My carne asada tostada was somewhat tough but still tasty. I also had the ceviché tostada and beef tostada. Yes, I really like tostadas!

The hospitality was superb!

Excellent food, but most specially the wait staff service. Very kind and considerate. Best Tres Amigos latte ever. Carne asada is the best. If you’re looking for great Mexican food, this is the place. Family friendly and great tasting food. Hats off to the chef.

This place should honestly be called “Tres Ladronas Mexican Grill” (Three Thieves Mexican Grill) given how blatantly the employees mislead and overcharge customers. Today was my first and definitely last time eating here. I stopped by around 1 p.m. hoping to find a new Taco Tuesday spot for my lunch break. I was greeted by Fernando at the door, which initially made me think the service might be good unfortunately, that was the only positive part of the visit.
Once seated, I asked Fernando about their Taco Tuesday deal. He told me it didn’t start until after 2 p.m., which is already strange for a Taco Tuesday special. I was disappointed, but since I was short on time and already there, I decided to order something anyway.
I explained very clearly that I do not eat chicken, pork, or beef, and only choose seafood or vegetarian options. I told him this upfront so he wouldn’t recommend anything with meat. He suggested a few items, and I ended up ordering a Jamaica drink ($4.49) and a bean-and-cheese burrito ($7.49). He asked if I wanted grilled veggies added inside, and I agreed.
The burrito he brought had beans, cheese, rice, veggies, sour cream, guacamole, and lettuce—which i was not sure what the bean and cheese burrito looked like or came with simce being a first timer so I ate it. Until I received the check.
My total came out to $21 a huge jump from the roughly $11.98 the menu prices added up to.
When I questioned this, Fernando suddenly claimed I had ordered a meat burrito called the Chimichunga, even though:

• I told him I don’t eat meat
• I told him it was my first time there and I was not familiar with the menu
• I asked specifically for a bean-and-cheese burrito

Instead of apologizing or trying to understand the situation, he doubled down and argued with me. He insisted I pay the full price for the Chimichunga, claiming he “substituted the protein” with grilled veggie —meaning he basically took a meat burrito, removed the meat, added veggies, and then charged me for the full meat-burrito price. By that logic, I was being charged extra for not eating meat.
I told him that would just make it a vegetarian burrito at max, which the menu lists at $10.99. I asked to be charged the correct price for the item I actually ordered. He refused. No apology, no correction, no accountability.
His only so-called “solution” was offering a 20% coupon for my next visit, which felt more like an insult than an attempt to make things right.
In the end, I paid the full $21 because I had to get back to work, but I left extremely dissatisfied, uncomfortable, and honestly shocked by the dishonesty. I’ve eaten at plenty of restaurants, and I’ve never had a server try to upcharge me by pretending I ordered something completely different—especially after I went out of my way to explain my dietary restrictions.
Between the misleading pricing, the refusal to correct an obvious mistake, and the argumentative customer service, I will never be returning here.
Avoid this place at all costs. Dishonest, unprofessional, and not worth your money.

Perfect mexican restaurant in our eyes. We went twice while staying in vegas, got their giant “vegas” burrito, giant fish burrito, combo fajitas, oreo and ferrero rocher Frappuccinos. We sat down the first time and got takeout the second time. Service & atmosphere in there is super cozy and very very friendly. Our food was cooked perfectly, tasted amazing, and the portions were incredible for such low prices! When we sat in the restaurant we were offered hot sauce, we expected just regular bottled hot sauce, but she brought us delicious homemade hot sauce! When we got takeout, along with our order we got free chips and salsa. Very impressed with the food quality here, would definitely recommend.

The portions are big, the place is very clean and the staff are friendly and attentive.
We ordered the yummy Mazapan frapp, regular coffees, giant burritos, and parrillada, and all portions were big enough to share with two people. The Carne asada, chicken, chorizo, and shrimp were all very tasty and cooked well. The shrimp was my favorite, it was well seasoned, very tasty and nice, and plump!
They have a few salsas that they use for the burrito or enchiladas and for the chips, but none are spicy. So we asked for a spicy salsa, and this was actually creamy but still nice and spicy.
They have a couple of small tables for outdoor seating and are pet friendly.
They’re located inside a shopping center with many other businesses but there’s plenty of parking. There’s also a market and gas station all in the same place.

A nice little place, not crowded, great service, food was good but not quite there for a 5 star review. The sauces were kind of weak, and they do not serve alcohol. Other than that the food was good for the price and the portions were nice.

Out of town visit and wanted to find a Mexican restaurant that wasn’t on the strip. Stumbled upon Tres Amigos. Friendly greeting right when we walked in, busy but still got a table right away. Service was great! Chips & salsa on the table right away, server recommend the guac. It was nice and fresh great flavour. All 4 of us had different menu items and no one was disappointed. We will be back again for sure!

After reading some reviews we made the decision to come here for some Mexican food. We were not let down. The restaurant is presented as very clean. We were greeted, seated, and presented with menus promptly. Service was attentive and friendly. The large portion dishes were all great. If you have a craving for Mexican food, I’d recommend Tres Amigos!

We liked Tres Amigos! They have ground beef, which we normally prefer to shredded. We ordered a smothered burrito and a combo plate. Everything was lovely, tasted great! The only complaint would be the portions are a little light for the price. The bag felt that way when I picked up the order. Also, only the combo plate came with a side of rice and beans. The burrito was a main dish and should have too. In the end, we were satisfied and enjoyed the meal. Their breakfast burritos also look very intriguing. We will definitely be going back!
