We went for lunch on Saturday and it was great! We usually go the the other one on Dell Range, but this one is the same or maybe better. Very spacious, plenty of parking spaces, nice furniture and atmosphere. Clean bathrooms. Service was very pleasant and attentive. The food was plenty, fresh, and tasted fantastic! We will be going back. We notice many customers were Latino which confirmed us that we were in a good (maybe authentic) restaurant. Highly recommended

Great stop for Mexican food on a road trip. My wife thought it was some of the best Mexican food she has had and she lives Arizona so that’s pretty good for Wyoming. She had a chili relleno and chicken enchilada and I had the burrito supreme. We also had the queso which was great and they had this cilantro mushroom salsa that I’ve never even heard of and it was soooo delicious, and I don’t like mushrooms! Great little place to stop in at. On Sunday afternoon football was on the tv and not the soccer kind so that was nice.

I went here for the first time and had a great experience. There was a slight mess up with our order, but Gustavo made up for it and went above and beyond. The food and drinks were all fantastic and the service was outstanding.

Absolutely fantastic food and service! Don’t be scared by the budget hotels surrounding this place, the food is legit! Our server, Alejandra, was so pleasant and helpful, all the servers were attentive, we never lacked for chips or salsa or drinks. I thought the mushroom salsa would be weird…..its delicious! All our food was very flavorful. You gotta try this place if your going through Cheyenne!

The food here is very good and there is a large variety of traditional and American influenced Mexican dishes. Service is very good but can be a bit slow. Still the atmosphere, quality of food and very kind wait staff makes it worth returning.

Great service from all the staff here. We really felt taken care of here. They definitely went above the standard and it showed. Food was great, our server checked on us and even the manager or head person here came to make sure we were happy before we left. Another staff member opened the door for us as we left. Thank you!

We randomly found Tres Amigos in Cheyenne, WY while passing through on our way to other states, and it turned out to be such a great surprise! The place looked neat, well-maintained, and had a welcoming vibe. It filled up quickly, which is always a good sign.

The food was excellent — some of the best Mexican I’ve had in a long time. The chile relleno was absolutely delicious (I got the fried version and loved it), and the chori pollo was packed with flavor and spice, with chorizo that really stood out. They started us off with fresh table chips and three different sides, which was a fun touch.

We finished our meal with a smooth and sweet flan dessert, the perfect ending to a great lunch.

If you’re ever passing through Cheyenne, I definitely recommend stopping at Tres Amigos for authentic and flavorful Mexican food!

So wow! What an unexpected find! On my way across country, stopped to overnight in Cheyenne and found this place a minute away from my motel with 4.5 stars. Latin staff and mostly Latin customers started off as a good sign and then comes this mushroom salsa with the chips… OMG where has this been my whole life!?! Chips were fresh and regular salsa also delicious with just enough bite to not be a mistake.

Pork enchiladas were made with cubed slow cooked pork in nice sauce, beans and rice were just as solid (and my wife and son judge good Mexican food off this) and a good old cheese quesadilla with real cheddar to sop up the sauces and beans.

Service was intermediate, kind and attentive and more food than I could rest for $25 🙂 if you’re in the neighborhood, is live near by this is a must try for good Mexican.

Been a minute since I’ve found a legit Mexican restaurant on the road! Yes, it’s in an old Perkins restaurant location but… Atmosphere is really great inside.

Starting with the free chips and salsa, salsa is great, not too spicy, not too wimpy. Bean dip is legit, but the the to look for, is the mushroom salsa! Its made mushrooms, cilantro, house spices, onions, and tomatoes. It’s fantastic, and worth the trip!

I ordered the tricolor enchilada, and the chili relleno as a side. Way too much food but it was worth it!

Chile relleno came out a little cool, took a back and completely re-made it, when I would have been good with them just warming it up for me.

Staff was accommodating, and friendly. Great experience!
