This might have been the worst service I’ve ever had. Waitress seemed to be actively avoiding our table. This is also a small restaurant that had 3 servers which made me even more surprised about the level of service. They forgot to bring my drink and got my order wrong. And half the chicken in my burrito was chewy and inedible. Could not recommend less.

I recently tried this place for lunch, and I found the portion size to be generous for the price. The queso I had was a bit watery, and I found a sizable piece of fat in the steak inside my XL burrito. Despite this, the flavor of the burrito and rice was quite good.

My friend wanted to meet here and I was a little reluctant to go downtown. Then, I heard Vincente Fernandez when I walked in and my hopes were exponentially raised! We shared the cucumbers w tajin, my pal had two al pastor tacos, and I had a carnitas torta. The meat was so juicy and tender, with the crispy bits in the right places. Bread soft, just right amount of toppings. Yum! The salsa bar had all the usual stuff, including radishes and cilantro, for me to add to my liking. I had intended to take half my torta home, but I devoured it right then and there. This place has legit Mexican food and is worth the parking!

I had high hopes for Tres and I was not disappointed! My husband and I ordered a variety of food so we could try multiple menu items. I loved the al pastor! The pork was perfectly cooked, and the delicious pieces of sweet pineapple complimented the spices. It truly is the best I’ve ever had! Do not sleep on the street corn! It’s a flavor punch to the mouth!. You will not regret this dish! My husband devoured his birria taco and consumé. The birria meat was flavorful and tender, and the consumé was a perfect dipping partner. Oh, and the French fries are fantastic! Crispy on the outside, like they should be! Athens is lucky to have Tres Amigos!

This place is THE BOMB! It’s giving the other popular Taco place in town a run for its money. I love the bar where you can hand pick your own toppings. It includes lime and cilantro and onion and radishes and a couple of different sauces. These were literally the best tacos I’ve ever had and what a great deal on Tuesdays! I can’t wait to go and try out the margaritas soon!
