The layout and decor feels authentic. The music here is more for a club. The server is soft spoken and really sweet. The marinated chicken tacos is very tasty and filling. The side of rice is perfect. I do recommend this place.

My go-to mexican restaurant! I get their pollo loco and it’s always delicious. Their portion sizes do seem to vary a little bit but only by a small margin. A little pricey, but worth it in my opinion. Super cheesy and goes wonderfully with their chips and salsa. Staff is always very nice and remembers my order without me even saying it! Nice little waiting room for when it gets busy and the music is never too loud!

Typical white American Mexican style cuisine,.. two different street tacos ordered the fish and the Iberia,.. both were tasty,.. priced about average,.. ate outside, both for the atmosphere and for the dining room being exceptionally noisy restaurant appeared. Clean staff appeared friendly, I felt our waitress may have had some big tables on the inside because several items were forgot throughout the service,.. but if we lived here we would be back. The food is good, not amazing, but still above average. I have no complaints about the service, it was overall good and the staff were decently friendly. The restaurants interior was fairly plain, nothing to write home about, but not bad, and fairly clean. Overall I would give this place a 6.8/10 (5 on my scale being average), so not a bad score.

Nice greeting upon entering the restaurant. Promptly seated and asked what drinks we would like. Salsa & chips came with our drinks. Each person received their own bowl of salsa. Waitress was on point with timing during the visit. Food was ordered took about ten minutes to prepare. Nice atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone in the area to try out. Located about a block away from the I-75 Monroe exit.

Stopped by Tres Amigos in Monroe Oh. yesterday for a late lunch, first time visiting and was pretty impressed.
The restaurant
The restaurant was clean and the atmosphere festive but not overly so. The music was nice and not needlessly loud.
The food
I ordered Pollo con Chorizo which is a favorite dish for me. The dish was well cooked and perfectly seasoned. Portion size was very close to perfect for a hungry guest and was a good value for what it cost me.
The people
People can make or break any business, you could serve the best food available but if the service is bad folks will never forget.
My server was Juanita, Juanita was friendly and attentive without hovering. She welcomed me at the door like she was welcoming back an old friend. She checked on me several times while I was eating and thanked me for visiting when I left. Juanita turned a good late lunch into a truly great dining experience.

LarderRoom…This was my first time eating at Tres Amigos, but it will not be my last. The Mexican Restaurant is open and lively. The staff was extremely courteous and eagar to please. I was greeted with warm chips and delicious salsa. I ordered Chicken Fajitas from the lunch menu. The portion was a little small (lunch menu) but delicious and filling with the included rice and beans. Overall, great experience.

We visited Tres Amigos in Mason after our visit to GWL. This is a great little Mexican restaurant near the interstate. The chips and salsa was very good. The queso sauce complimented everything very well. We enjoyed the meals that we purchased and would highly recommend this place on your way in or out of town.

Their Birria tacos are amazing. They are some of the best in the city in my opinion flavor-wise because they don’t drown them in cheese and they are never greasy. We also had their Carnitas dinner and the pork was so tender, flavorful, and delicious. I highly recommend Tres amigos. Their margaritas are always on point.
