Small town restaurants in the Midwest can be surprisingly good! You will know by how hard it is to get a place on Sat night! The menu is extensive. Of course beef and pork are king – slow-cooked prime rib, a variety of steak and pork chops. But lighter proteins – fish and chicken- are also plentiful. I had one of the specials- chicken bruschetta. Two 8 oz chicken cutlets with a delightful blend of mozzarella, peppers and spices. Mouthwatering! Sides included baked potato and grilled asparagus with a fresh crispy side salad. Everything was farm to table fresh and prepared wonderfully. Best grilled asparagus ever! We ended dinner with an amazing slice of homemade peach pie. Portions were so large that we took half home for another evening. Great experience in a classic Midwest restaurant!

Stopped in for lunch. It was not busy. It is a small town restaurant with a upscale look and feel for a small town price.
Ordered the mushroom appetizer with honey mustard for dipping. It was hand breaded, very good and could be shared among three or four people.
Had the special, walleye fish with fries and slaw. It was awesome. Some of the best fish I have had.
The wait staff were quick, friendly, and attentive. I had to wait for nothing. Seating, ordering, delivery were quick. Drink refills were done without the need to ask for more.
If you are in the area or looking for a Sunday drive give them a try. You will be delighted.

Five star restaurant. Excellent service and very friendly. Great atmosphere and great Sinatra era music made for a wonderful quiet dining experience. The food was amazing. We had the Apple chutney pork chop with grilled Brussel sprouts and potatoes. Great table presentation and a warm atmosphere made this a perfect place to dine.

Never a complaint when it comes to Trenton House. Been eating here for 16 years now and never disappointed. Got the blackened swordfish tonight and it was simply delightful. Amazing service from the staff, especially from the bartender, Amy. Todd is always around too which makes my dining experience better with his jokes and booming laugh. Love it here.

The always amazing Trenton House for the win on a Saturday night! Even with prom and no reservation, they were able to get us in right away, the service was fast & friendly, the meal was excellent AND a lot of food, needing two “To Go” Boxes. Highly recommend our choice of specials for the day, the Hunters Steak & Spring Penne Pasta with Shrimp!

I am from Canada. We visited this wonderful restaurant with friends from Deien Chevrolet. It appeared to me as a family operated restaurant as the owners checked on if all was going on well as they were working in the restaurant.
The service reflected genuine caring for this customers. The ambiance complimented the service quality.
