When we were leaving Bar Harbor we decided to stop and get some fresh lobster meat to take home. We bought a container of fresh lobster here and decided to freeze it and enjoy it later. I anticipated cut up pieces of lobster and hopefully nothing else as filler. When we did eat it, it was spectacular. It tasted so fresh, and in our container were 3 full lobster tails, 3 full claws, and numerous other large chunks of lobster. I highly recommend their lobster. We will be return customers!

We visited from Arizona a week ago and had a blast with family from Chicago and Florida. The owner helped us order and was so kind and patient. Four people had lobster dinners, one shrimp, and one ate chowder, rolls, and corn. All six of us enjoyed the atmosphere as well as every bite. I wish we lived closer!

If you are on the hunt for fresh lobster and a locally owned family business , then look no farther. We have had fresh cooked whole lobsters in the past but tonight we had lobster rolls. They do stop cooking live lobsters at 7:15 so keep this in mind if this is your preference. The lobster rolls did not disappoint! They are loaded with so much lobster meat that you have to eat a few pieces off the top before you can pick it up. I was good with this
The granddaughter of the proprietor was helping up front when we placed our order and then came to check in on us as we were finishing up! We learned a little bit of the history of the Trenton Bridge Lobster Pound .
We grabbed a blueberry pie to bring home.

You order at the counter and wait for your number to be called. You can choose your own lobster and they steam them right outside – you can watch if you want.
Clean outdoor dining area with a place to wash your hands after.
They will ship lobsters for you as well if you want 🙂

Chose my own lobster and they cooked it right up. It was so fresh and delicious. Also got sides of corn, potato salad, cole slaw, and salted potato’s. All were delicious as well! Prices were very reasonable too!

I really wanted to like this place because the people were so nice and they cook their lobster outside but my lobster roll was falling apart in my hands and my chowder was not good. Lobster by itself was overall good. I think I just needed to get a steamed lobster instead of the roll.

Loved our experience here! Had the hot buttered lobster rolls and, although they said it’s 5oz of lobster, it seemed like more and it was amazing! Rolls came with potato chips but we added slaw and potato salad and both were delicious (and I believe both were homemade).
They have the outdoor lobster cooking which is neat to watch and there’s plenty of seating – covered and uncovered.

Excellent food with friendly service. Stopped in and tried their lobster rolls which were wonderful. Tried one cold and one warm and they were great. The lobster was fresh sweet and cooked perfectly. They were delicious. Loved it. Well worth a visit.
