First time visiting Tremont Cafe. I found the restaurant to be clean and inviting. There was plenty of seating available when we arrived. It was a find your own seat kind of morning. We were greeted by our server, who presented us with our menus and took our beverage order. I found a nice selection of breakfast items on the menu, including a $10 value meal menu that had several offerings. I chose the egg and chicken fried steak value meal (no potatoes or toast) and my wife chose an omelette from the regular menu. There were a couple large groups in the restaurant, but we didn’t have to wait too long for our food to be served. It was plated well and served up at an appropriate temperature. The flavors were good. My chicken fried steak and gravy was nicely flavored and tender. A very good meal. I would visit again.

Exactly what one expects from a breakfast diner. Eggs were perfect, service 100%, clean and welcoming atmosphere on a rainy morning.

We stopped here for breakfast on our way south, it was conveniently right off the freeway. The service here was great, everyone was friendly, and the restaurant was very clean. Food was delicious and good portions, no complaints at all. Great breakfast spot.

The food!!!!! Our first time here… Fresh! Great menu selection. Adorable cafe experience.. Garden omelette with a side of hollandaise! Perfect Steak and eggs! On our journey north to Washington and stopped in just off the I5 freeway. So worth it for breakfast and lunch. Caitlyn was our server and she’s amazing! We never waited from the moment we walked in until we paid. A definite must if you’re looking for a super clean, welcoming and friendly place to stop, enjoy quality food and get back on the freeway. Thank you Tremont for the experience…

Great place! Laid back casual diner. Friendly wait, staff. The food is awesome as well. They have a country fried steak made from PRIME RIB and is HUGE! It even comes out med/med-welll!!! Gravy is just ok, not entirely made from.scratch you can tell, and the potatoes are good. This is probably one of the best chicken fried steaks out there and definitely the best in Tahema County. With some scratch gravy it would be over the top.

Walked over to Tremont after mailing pkgs @ PO! Pulling my “old lady” cart w/July 4th goodies for 2 little girls, I was eyed suspiciously by waitress @ register. Told her I’d like a Cinnamon Roll to go as I’d read fabulous review, she mentioned FB! While waiting I noticed 3 waitresses huddled down by pastry cases & looking my way! At the time I paid it no mind, she returned, I paid, OVER $7, she offered a fork but no napkin! The SO-CALLED Cinnamon Roll resembled NONE I’d ever seen but had to try!!! Not only was it CRUNCHY, it was crumbly & dry like it was OLD & the only thing that looked FRESH was the icing! I used a fork a took few bites, GROSS, set aside, tried couple bites later, uh NO! YUCK! I have Never seen or heard of a Cinnamon Roll that looks like a Frisbee!!! Whoever “raved” about them has obviously NEVER had a REAL Cinnamon Roll! Pics I took of my big waste of $$!!!

Easy parking along the street or nearby makes it a great weekend or anytime visit. Our breakfast here was mighty fine. We enjoyed a cinnamon roll slathered in icing, eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, chicken fried steak, whole wheat toast, sourdough toast and coffee. Yup. The whole shebang! A hearty breakfast here will hold you through til dinner at least! Very quaint cafe, old school, welcoming, efficient, and wonderful. Love this bit of Americana!

There was a guy who came in 30 mins after me sat right next to me and got his order before me .
