I never review restaurants but I will say that this was the slowest I’ve ever experienced dinner from the time we were sat until the time we had food in front of us…First we waited 45 minutes for a table, where the hostess “called” our names so loud that no-one heard it and had to get in the back of the line again with 5 small children because of her inaudible name calling. They were out of fish and chips, which was one of the main items on their small menu. Some of the waitstaff was good, but as we ate their twice on our stay, we tried the buffet in the morning where we were “required” to give a minimum gratuity, and maybe were seen by the waitstaff one time. They were out of syrup of all things while they offered pancakes and French toast as a main item…Try having your kids eat pancakes and French toast sticks without syrup. I think I deserve the minimum required tip as I had to get up from the table multiple times to find someone for empty beverage taps where juice was supposed to be, straws, coffee, etc. I feel bad for the employees who actually care about their jobs who have to deal with employees who don’t, and working in a restaurant that is running out of items constantly.

Horrible place to go considering the management treats waitstaff extremely unprofessional and changes rules of pay wage etc accordingly without notice, and everyone is paid differently. Don’t expect to be a priority when you go there to eat because the manager has ran off any good staff that the place could possibly even have. If management cannot treat employees with respect I certainly can’t imagine from what I have heard from some that have visited that the customers could be treated with any. In my past experiences if there is poor management and unhappy staff then the customers usually have to suffer.. Anyone staying at this hotel would be better off having food delevered from one of the other local establishments outside of splash universe or best Western.. Cheaper too.. If they don’t deliver they may know of someone that does on a personal basis.. Or just take the time to go pick up and bring back and eat in open area or your room.. Better experience.

The staff was very freindly, But Lack of items and very very over priced for what they offer. Slim menu, Honestly better off going to Applebees, Road house, bk Wendy’s ect. Again freindly staff just way to over priced for less then coney quality food.

Make sure you come an hour and a half before you get hungry, this place is slowwwww. I normally don’t write bad reviews but this is the second time this has happened too us. Needs better management.
