This was a lovely visit! I went in with a friend just after 5 pm. I got wonderful service, a nice inviting presence, and it was a load of fun to stop on by for a glass of mead from a local seller and to sit inside or outside. The glasses are themed as the titular Lord of the Rings Ent himself and the decorations were both relevant and fun for the Halloween season. We sat outside because it was a nice afternoon and it would be easier to leave when we needed to attend the play we were going to after a bit of fun at this tap house. They also have a few food options, but I’m pretty sure they allow outside food as well. I think they had pretzels with beer cheese, nachos, and one other food option I can not remember, but if they still allow outside food, it’d be super easy to grab a slice of pizza or other food option and have with a glass of basic on-tap drinks, cocktails, and also one or two non-alcoholic options.

I will never step foot in this establishment again and neither will any of the people I care about. I have been going here for over 6 years. I made a special stop to visit here as a former OSU student.
I was told I needed to give my seat up for a man. I told him I won’t be leaving, and I also informed the patron about the legal requirement that any animal in a food serving establishment needs to be a task trained service animal trained to mitigate a disability. This person then exploded in my face, telling me they know the owner, this is not a rule at Treebeards, and they had people to back them up.
I was then told by someone working there that I needed to leave. I asked why, and was told that I am aggressive and hostile. I am a small, inconspicuous woman. I was told that I may have “special martial arts training” and was too dangerous to remain here. I am not joking. This is legitimately what the United States has been destroyed to. Your seat, as a woman, can removed from you at any moment, because you are apparently dangerous. I actually have audio to back up the abuse I faced here.
I asked to receive the contact info for a manager or owner. This was not provided to me because I’m apparently so scary (I’m literally quoting them) that they are unable to provide this. They continued to refuse me this information, saying I was so apparently dangerous I need to leave to be provided this information. Mind you that again, I am a woman with a doctorate. I am highly educated and have never been accused of 1% of what this place insinuating I am capable of.
This establishment openly breaks the law on multiple accounts. Women, you are not safe here. Do not go here. I am so so sad that I ever gave this place a single cent over the past decade. I am afraid for the future of the United States.

Had a tasty Hefe (many beers and ciders to choose from) and played board games on a fun Friday night out! The OSU marching band even made an appearance! Cozy, local pub spot with both inside and outdoor seating.

Music way too loud, meaning the talking gets gradually louder and louder. I can’t drink, so.. not a great place to meet up and chat in my opinion. I did not expect it to be even half as loud. It was extremely busy too

The class was great! We grabbed a few drinks and they were excellent.
Pretty great selection of beers and ciders on tap.
I recommend trying the blueberry cobbler muffin cider from great notion.
We also got a root beer to in a growler.
Highly recommend and will be back!

Great spot to have a drink and relax. Also very dog friendly. There are many beers on tap to choose from and some canned cocktails. We had a great time just slowing down and enjoying our evening at Treebeerd’s.
