We offer a dining experience that satisfies your cravings and dietary restrictions. We serve cooked to order comfort food, fine wine, domestic or craft beer, and handcrafted cocktails. We and restaurants worldwide have endured constant changes to the dining rules we’ve always known. In the process, we have been shifting focus to smaller groups and highly suggest calling to make reservations. For special occasions, we could accommodate larger groups at certain times, though these tables will be seated at separate consecutive tables. Give us a call, we look forward to seeing you at TREAT!

I have been here multiple times, and it never disappoints! I brought my sisters and niece here for the first time this weekend, and they were truly impressed by the atmosphere and food. We ordered cocktails, the wham pow shrimp, and the bread service, for starters. The bread is always so good and perfect every time I come, and the herb butter is perfect with it. I always try to order a different dish and chose the shrimp and grits (I forgot what it was called on the menu). The others ordered the salmon, which is one of my favorites, the Asian pork shanks, and the wham pow shrimp pasta, which was every one of ours’ favorite of the night. Great time as always at Treat!

We went to Treat for dinner. Even though we didn’t have reservations we waited less than 20 minutes. The restaurant has a very modern upscale feel. The decor was very contemporary and comfortable. We were seated and immediately treated with exceptional service. We were offered wine but didn’t partake even though bottles were half off for Wednesday. My wife ordered a chef salad and I ordered a ceasar. We also ordered a bread service appetizer.The compound butter and dipping sauce were excellent with the warm bread. Salads were good however mine was a little under dressed and could have used some cracked pepper.(non offered). For entries my wife ordered the filled and u ordered the special bourbon glazed salmon. My wife’s meal was excellent and meat was cooked to the requested temperature. My salmon however was cooked over and pretty dry even with the glaze. The star of the meal was the roasted Brussel sprouts. They were excellent. I was uncomfortable giving a 4 star ratting when so much of the meal was excellent,however over cooking the salmon left me disappointed. It is my belief that this is a 5 star restaurant and will give them another shot to earn the 5th star. After all anyone can have a one off mistake. Will try again

We really enjoyed our visit here. The cocktail menu had some unique options that were really good. I had the shrimp and grits and it was fabulous! It may have been the best meal I’ve had since we arrived in North Carolina. Hubby had the Asian Pork. His mashed potatoes and brussel sprouts were very tasty.

Ate at Treat last Friday night. Enjoyed experience at the time. I was very clear with the staff about my dairy allergy. I double checked with the server about my allergy and confirmed that a certain dish did not contain any dairy. Unfortunately, allergic reaction followed later that night. I followed up with Treat by email about a week ago to make sure they had the chance to follow up with appropriate staff. Unfortunately they never followed up with me, so I have no way of knowing if they have made any changes to their process to make it safer for people with allergies. Expected more from a restaurant who says on its website that they are sensitive to dietary restrictions. Prior to allergic episode, my experience had been quite positive.

Date night. Seated by the front door next to what I guess was an old bar or some shelf, but my chair was tucked so far under said shelf we had to move the table out. Asked for sweet tea, got unsweetened they swore was sweet. Asked for sweetener, got a cup of hot water with what I guess was supposed to be sugar syrup or some such. Didn’t make a difference. My date’s cocktail didn’t show up until halfway through the entree.

After exploring Morganton and the surrounding area through the day with breweries and wineries we were in need of a great meal. We saw this place online and we’re able to find parking not far from the building. The atmosphere was quite pleasant and unique. The decor and lighting really made it stand out compared to others in the area as fun and eclectic. The drink menu had a fair selection and our drinks were tasty. The Bees knees which consisted of gin, basil, rosemary and fresh lemon and also the Frankie Silver vodka, cava, fresh berries were fantastic. We had bread service with the herbed butter which again was perfect and then also ordered our meal. The meal and all the food we had although fantastic took quite a long time. We had started our dinning at 7 and not everyone from our party got their food til past 8:20. What we had was superb the chicken parmesan, salmon pesto, and the filet but the dinner service was very slow and unorganized. If there’s a big party the smaller parties tend to have to wait and I saw other tables with guests in that same boat. Bottom line food was great and elevated for the area by far but the food service needs a bump. Cheers!

The food was amazing and I had an great experience! I was with a party of 7, and the owner treated us to an appetizer on the house. They also made great accommodations for vegetarians—I wanted to get the Nashville hot chicken and they made an off-the-menu substitution with tofu… it was INCREDIBLE. Highly recommend visiting if you find yourself in Morganton!!
