Delicious food and amazing service. Our server, Briar, was so sweet and helpful. We sat at the chefs counter and it was nice to chat with the chefs and watch them plating the dishes. The food tasted so good and everything was plated beautifully. It was a set 3 course menu where each person chooses an appetizer, main course and dessert. Treadwell is a great spot for a nice dinner or special occasion in NOTL.

The best food, everything is fresh and so flavorful. Briar our waitress was amaizing, always on top of evening and explained in detail exactly how our evening will be, it should take about 2 hours, and evening that we being placed in front of us.
The exploding flavors of the food are so indescribable you MUST eat here.

My husband and I recently used Treadwell as our catering service for our wedding at Ironwood Cider House and we were very impressed. We have been to the Treadwell restaurant as customers as well as for our wedding menu tasting and we have nothing but great things to say! The service and food was impeccable. We loved sitting in front of the kitchen watching the chefs work their craft. As for our catering at our wedding, the service was still stellar, but the food was slightly below our expectations. Our appetizers weren’t quite on point – the scallop smelled too fishy, and the carrot salad wasn’t seasoned enough. For the entrees, the halibut was a bit dry, but the striploin was just as good as when we tried it during our menu tasting. Overall, we definitely still recommend Treadwell for sure! We understand the logistics of catering is obviously quite different than making to order at a restaurant, which is why we are still very content!

I really wanted to like this place because the location is great. The outdoor patio is beautiful with a cute view, and the service was perfectly standard. Unfortunately, the food was very underwhelming and ultimately spoiled the experience. I ordered the steak and salmon; the steak was just okay (slightly on the salty side), but the salmon was way overcooked. The shrimp that came with it didn’t taste very fresh, and my friend actually ended up with a stomach ache after the meal. I understand it’s a tourist spot, but given the high price point and the poor food quality, it really isn’t worth it.

Came here for my birthday dinner as a solo diner and it was very decent. The food was great, didn’t opt for the wine pairing as I had been drinking wine all day in the surrounding wineries. Definitely recommend the crispy pork belly starter and the steak main. Very tender and flavorful.
I also recommend getting a table by the bar if dining solo, that was the only mistake I made when booking my reservation because it felt awkward eating alone!

A bit of a hit and miss for me here.
The scallop with salmon and the pasta with seasonal veggies were lovely. They have clean flavours, are nicely balanced, and thoughtfully done.
The pork belly kimchi, however, leaned a little too fatty for my taste, with a rind that was quite chewy and tough. The kimchi didn’t quite cut through the richness.
That said, the service was genuinely warm and attentive.

We had the most marvellous meal at Treadwell this past weekend. We wanted something special to celebrate my dear friend’s birthday and the team at Treadwell did not disappoint. My husband and I had ordered a few curbside meals during lockdown and each one was amazing. So, we wanted to get to the restaurant and enjoy a meal in person (took us a while). We were seated at the bar and enjoyed watching the kitchen team perform magic throughout the meal. I was amazed at how quiet and efficient it all was. Every course was a delight, and we opted for the wine pairing with our meal, which was exceptional. Honestly, we felt the kitchen team and staff deserved a standing ovation for the meal, but they cleaned up so quickly and quietly, I missed it. Chef Jason even served us personally! I had such high expectations going in, and they were exceeded. Thank you!

We had great memories of this restaurant from three years ago, when the food quality and variety were excellent. Sadly, it doesn’t quite live up to that standard anymore. Prices are higher, the variety is reduced, and the value for money is not what it used to be.
On the positive side, the atmosphere is pleasant, the plate presentation is nice, and the staff and service were welcoming.

Absolutely wonderful experience. Benoit was attentive and kind, he paced the meal perfectly and we never felt rushed. The pork belly and burrata were delicious and the arctic char and lamb were both cooked perfectly. Would absolutely come again!

Overall a decent place for tourists looking for a place to sit down and eat. Reasonably priced for the area, the food comes well presented and in large portions, and they do try to make the taste of every dish interesting in some way. Not sure if the effort was made in the right direction though.
The staff were all very nice, and the outdoor dining space has a nice vibe. Overall, I would still recommend this place over many other restaurants in the same area.
