Tre Zie (Three Aunts) is a story of family, food, and survival. When my three great-great-grand-aunts were in the kitchens of Avellino exchanging the same stories of surviving World War II they’ve told countless times before, all while rolling and shaping pasta for the family dinner, I was inspired to honor them by going back to my roots. This restaurant is a tribute to strong women everywhere, the strength of the Italian spirit, and the stories we share around the dinner table.
