The food was exceptional. I loved the white bean soup and the risotto service was not good. I finished my water. I finished my martini and no one came around to refill or ask for seconds on the drink after an hour. Finally got the attention of the waitress asked for the check and we left. Who knows if they had dessert.

We visited Tre Trattoria for the first time to celebrate my Mom’s birthday. The ambience and atmosphere of the restaurant were incredible. Every food item we ordered was delicious! The golden beets were a favorite. My smoked Gouda white truffle pasta was so creamy and bursting with flavor. Our server Jade was so friendly and attentive, her recommendation really helped.

Celebrated a special occasion with flowers sent ahead, the restaurant went beyond making it special. They added candles and lights on the table to complement the flowers. Our waiter Rami, was outstanding can’t say enough about how his energy and attention to detail made our dining experience enjoyable. We took part of ordering from the restaurant week menu, which did not disappoint. The Herb-Roasted chicken was on point, and the cauliflower bisque was amazing!! Truly a memorable night to enjoy a special moment and have a good meal. Definitely would recommend the restaurant – casual, cozy and great staff make this place a gem.

We were seated right away as they were not busy for New Year’s Day. It seemed like their lunch menu was very limited, I’m not sure if that was because it was a holiday or if that’s their typical lunch menu. The bolognese was delicious, the gnocchi was a little too creamy. We wished we could have added some grilled chicken. The Cesar salad was very good and enough for two of us to share. I had a martini that was$1 less than my entree. We spent a total of $90 for two meals,
Salad and a drink.

I visited here on a very nice Saturday and had an amazing lunch. It was a little warm outside at this time (around 11:30-12:00), but the fans on the balcony where I sat were lovely at keeping me cool and they blew just strong enough to keep the bugs off, too.

The food was fantastic, and honestly pretty fairly priced for the quality! Of course, expect it to cost a little more than your typical restaurant, however, as they are a bit higher scale AND right on the river, which offers an amazing view, by the way.

The food was fantastic, I had the Tuscan Farro salad, the smoked gouda and white truffle raddiatore pasta, and a delightful coctail called the Saintly Dog. I was having a lot of trouble picking what I wanted to eat and spent a lot of time just looking over the menu while I ate my appetizer (farro salad is delicious, by the way, very bright, but NO GREENS, so be careful if you’re expecting a lettuce bowl). My server Sebastian was very attentive, but not pushy, and an absolute delight to talk to, offering me really great suggestions. He also explained WHY he suggested them and not just “Well I like this item”. He mentioned that the citrus in the cocktail would be a great option for cutting through the heavy richness of the pasta, which turned out to be a perfect pairing as I didn’t want wine. He was confident in his suggestions, but humble enough to explain that his pallete isn’t as refined, so it really felt like it was up to me and there wasn’t any pressure.

I think I would come back for the service and view alone, but the food was absolutely delicious and well balanced. The pasta is something I’ll think about for years.

The service was friendly and impeccable; the staff treated us with respect. They offered delicious recommendations since it was our first time visiting. The atmosphere was exquisite, and it was interesting to listen to the conversations of the goal-oriented patrons around us.

What a gorgeous little restaurant overlooking the Riverwalk paired with the best weather in San Antonio to date! The burrata and toast was absolutely delicious that between the four of us, we wiped the bowl clean. We had the off menu lasagna, gnocchi, bolognese, sun dried tomato pasta and Brussels sprouts. Everything was so good and flavorful. Walking around the area was nice as well with some historical sites nearby.

We went here for the first time earlier this evening and BOY did this play Deliver! The service was top notch, very attentive despite the fact they got pretty busy during what was probably peak hours for them. The food was the best Italian we’ve had in the whole San Antonio area by far. We started with a Cauliflower Bisque and are planning to go back in the next week or two to make sure we have it again – it’s seasonal. My husband ordered the gnocchi and I had the mushroom risotto. Both were incredible (we shared). The drinks we had were also well done. 10/10 if you are craving some really good Italian food. We are actively excited to return.

I recently dined at Tre Tattoria with two friends, and the food itself was absolutely incredible. I ordered the gnocchi, we had the bolognese, and the other friend went with the smoked Gouda white truffle dish. We also shared the slow-roasted tomato caprese and the pulled-to-order mozzarella. Every single dish was rich, flavorful, and beautifully prepared. Truly some of the best Italian food I’ve had in San Antonio each plate felt intentional and indulgent. And let me tell you, as a New Jersey native, where Italian cuisine is one of the strongest in the east coast, Tre Tattoria is solid! I legit felt the emotions the team put into each and every single dish.

The only drawbacks were with the service experience. We had an 8:30 reservation but weren’t seated until 9:00, which threw off our plans a bit, especially since we arrived in time but had some difficulty finding the location. It would have been appreciated if the grace period was applied more flexibly. It does feel shoulder to shoulder inside but when you are with the people you love, those things can be easily ignored!

Thank you.

Air conditioner was broken at the time of my reservation and service for me was visibly slow compared to others around me. The food was decent and my chicken was undercooked
I will try past next time to give my final review. The view from outside was great however I can’t look past the service being mid.
