Tre pazzi is fantastic! My girlfriend and I have been here plenty of times and the food has been great every time. The service also has been great: our server tonight (Carmela, if I remember the name correctly) was kind and courteous and doing a really good job. I, separately, delivered a number of this restaurant’s tables to them YEARS ago and interacted with the owner plenty of times, very nice guy. Highly recommend Tre Pazzi for anyone who wants some good Italian food in the auburn area. I had the meal with various seafoods in a spicy tomato sauce–perfect.

Wonderful Italian restaurant in the heart of Auburn. Great food and service. Atmosphere is welcoming, clean and comfortable. Good place for date night, family meals and large groups. Parking is easily found behind the building or on the street. We had a group of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meal. Highly recommend the Beet Salad, Lasagna and Fungi Raviolis!

The pastas and salad are pretty good, but the pizza tastes like frozen ones. I would definitely not eat pizza here.
Reservation is needed if you are coming in during the peak dinner time.

We order take-out maybe 3 times a year for the past several. The food has declined greatly over time. Last night’s order was absolutely awful!! The only reason I am giving it 1 star is because of the fantastic interaction with Carmela. Back to the food. I ordered porks cutlets & white polenta with what sounded like an amazing sauce (lemon, wine & rosemary). I was horrified after my first bite. It was beyond sour it was down right bitter!!! The pork had zero seasoning as did the polenta. Absolutely inedible. My husband ordered the chicken picatta which had so much salt ( and we like salt) that his was also inedible. The $70’s spent went straight to the trash can. What a waste of money. I am shocked by the many reviews raving how great the food is??We will never return to this establishment again.

The staff were friendly, but very helpful. No can back to ask me how my was, nor did they offer me coffee or dessert at the end of my meal. The prices were average. They have begun charging for bread and have reduced the portion. The food is always well prepared. And the menu offers many options.

The Mushroom polenta is AMAZING!!!!. I typically get the spaghetti carbonara. It is very good. The kids vary on pizza or spaghetti but enjoy both. It is a nice place to sit outside during spring and early summer. Book ahead or arrive early they get busy.

Good food, normal service (It depends on the waiter, ours was a little sullen, but in general it’s okay). There is a free parking on the street and a large lot behind the building.
We ate two pastas. On Sunday at 5 p.m., only 5 tables was occupied here.

Only been twice. Was never wowed by the food. It needs salt/flavor/umami idk sum things missing. Best things were the appetizers. I’ll give the pizza a try next time

We didn’t feel rushed, the food was amazing and the service was great. We will definitely be back. It was great to get to eat Italian food that could still be gluten free. I loved all their veg.
Servel months later we were again traveling through the area and planned our trip to make sure we got a visit. Once again we were not disappointed! The service is still amazing, the food (even though we made ourselves choose different dishes, from the ones we loved last time) did not disappoint. The staff is great about making sure items can be gluten free (like their amazing beet salad) and allowing you to truly enjoy their food. We will never miss this stop in our future travels. The owner loves being true to Italian food and it shows in the recipes. His newest wine he brought back from Italy was spectacular!!!

I really want to like this place but after several tries it’s just not that good. I’ve tried several dishes. Here is the main problem with this restaurant: the portion size is very small. Plan on ordering two meals because one will not be enough. Also if you ask for a salad with extra dressing expect to be given a side of oil and vinegar and be charged $3 for it. That said the beet salad is delicious. Everything else is just mediocre. The rack of lamb was very disappointing, no seasoning or flavor on it at all and it’s served with a bland side of beans and stewed tomatoes. The small dollop of creamy polenta on the plate was the only thing that had any bit of flavor. My second dish was the mushroom risotto special and it was tiny! So glad I got two entrees. It also tasted like Chinese food. Like broccoli beef in particular, minus the broccoli. My husband ordered the veal Marsala and the carbonara, both he would give 2 out of 5 stars. The marsala comes with just veggies, no pasta or starch of any kind. Weird. At any other restaurant one meal is plenty but not this place. Take my word for it, if you have a normal appetite or especially if you’re particularly hungry, order two entrees at Tre Pazi.
