I arrived at Tre Bambu in Centro Vasco da Gama right as they were closing… hungry, tired, and honestly expecting a polite “sorry, we’re closed.” Instead, Sunjita met me with warmth and kindness. She could tell I hadn’t eaten and immediately went out of her way to ask the kitchen if they’d be willing to make one more meal.
The cooks all looked up, smiled at me, and said they’d take care of me. That moment alone meant a lot.
Then the food arrived… generous portions, absolutely delicious, and clearly made with care. It wasn’t just a meal, it was comfort. I left genuinely happy and grateful.
Outstanding food, outstanding portions, and hospitality that you don’t forget. Huge thanks to Sunjita and the entire team… you turned a long day into a really good memory. I’ll definitely be back.

I arrived to Oriente train station and looked for a place to eat before taking a train to Sintra… so I crossed to the mall Vasco Fa Gamma , they are at the 3rd floor (take the stairs). I had the BUN NEM CHAY, which is a rice noodle salad with tofu and spring rolls .. I asked to have soy sauce and à slice of lemon instead of the fish sauce. The lady was amazingly nice and served me properly… I sat down to eat with a big smile. Now I have filled up my batteries to continue this amazing Trip in Portugal!

Not eatable meat in Pho Bo. This part of the meat shouldn’t be used in this soup at all.

Really good vegan options here, good value for the money with a taste from Vietnam! We had some rice noodles Chay with a sweet sour salar that was top notch and fried rice with tofu and veggies.
The staf was really friendly and made sure we meet our expectations.

Really Nice Vietnamese restaurant in Oriente, I got to asked a few things about the food and the restaurant to Fujita who was really nice and helped me with all the questions and requests. The chef is actually from Vietnam’s and the Pho Bo and vegetarian spring rolls are up to the standard when comparing with my experiences in Vietname, authentic taste and delicious!

I’ve been to Tre Bambu quite a few times and tried lots of different dishes. Everything tastes really good. My favorite is the rice with chicken which is super tasty and always fresh.
What I like most is the service. The staff are super friendly, helpful and quick. I never have to wait long for my food and it always feels nice to be served by such kind people.
Definitely one of my go-to spots. I keep coming back.

The food was really good, but the ladies who are on the front desk billing counter never have a smile on their face and welcome the customer. First of all, the restaurant should teach them what manners are. Train them properly and then place the right candidates who deserve it. In the hospitality industry, service is first next the product. I’m really disappointed with their attitude with angry faces for the second time that forced me to post here in public so that the responsible team will take some immediate action. Thanks in advance.

We had the grilled beef and grilled pork with rice vermicelli. Both were flavourful…recommended. The only complaint was the spring rolls tasted like the oil they used was rancid/used way too many times, which made this inedible for us.

First time trying this branch of Tre Bambu, and we were not disappointed. We had a nice meal with just some of the starters and two of their colourful desserts – all fresh and tasty. We’ll definitely be back to try more of the dishes on the menu!

This place is legit. Vasco da Gama has no business in hosting such a high quality and authentic vietnamese restaurant. But Tre Bambu somehow manages to make it work. Amazing kitchen and staff, bravo guys ♥️
