Tried Trax for the first time today. Food was amazing. Ive been looking for good BBQ forever! It is a self serve location, and there is NO parking. It was very busy and there was snow on the ground, so maybe there was more parking It was just covered. I recommend this place 100%. BBQ sandwich was very good! So was the coleslaw!

Went for dinner for the first time here tonight. The brisket and pulled chicken was delicious, brisket just fell apart and was so good. Service was great and the person helping at the front was incredibly helpful and had great customer service. Definitely will be back!

Trax BBQ Review: Worth the Wait!
Trax BBQ is an absolute must-try destination for any barbecue enthusiast! I recently visited and was blown away by the quality, making the anticipated wait time well worth it.

The Vibe & Logistics
I love the space! It has a great atmosphere that really sets the stage for some serious BBQ. Be prepared for a couple of things, though:
• Limited parking means you might have to scout around.
• You should be prepared to wait. The quality is incredibly high, but they are clearly not in a hurry—a sign that everything is cooked to perfection.

⭐ The Food
The high quality truly shines through in the food. I ordered the Brisket with a side of Green Beans and the signature Trax Coleslaw… and it was all amazing! The brisket was tender and smoky, and the sides were the perfect complement.

The Sauces
A good BBQ joint lives and dies by its sauces, and Trax delivers. I tried two excellent options:
• Jamaican Jerk (featuring the heat of the scotch bonnet pepper)
• Red Hog BBQ sauce

Both were great, but surprisingly, despite my love for the scotch bonnet pepper, I ranked the Red Hog sauce higher! It has a fantastic, balanced flavor that truly elevates the meat.

Conclusion
If you are looking for authentic, high-quality barbecue, this is your spot. This is a must-try BBQ Joint!

We have been looking for high-quality BBQ in the Indy area, and Trax is the place to go! Located in nearby Mccordsville, Trax has become a sudden spot we will regularly visit.

From pork and brisket to cheesy potatoes and banana pudding, everything was delicious! Because of high demand, wait times may be a little higher than what normal is considered for a typical BBQ place at peak times. I would wait as long as needed for the flavor and quality.

There are 11 different sauces available to use, mix, and match. They range from mild to quite spicy, including different flavors of habanero hot sauces. Every sauce has a unique flavor profile.

We got the 1/4 sheet, which gave you 3 meats, 2 sides, garlic bread, and coleslaw. It was easily enough for 2 of us. We had brisket, pulled pork, sausage, Mac and cheese, and cheesy potatoes. I couldn’t tell you what my favorite is because they were all 10s!

We also tried their pork belly tacos special. It was made to perfection and had a variety of sweet and savory flavors.

I can’t wait to go back again!

Ordered the carnivore burger with Mac n cheese, and the BFM 3 meat (ribs, brisket, bone in white chicken) with chili and bacon beans. The chili is overloaded with pulled meat, it could use more beans. The chicken was pretty dry. The brisket and ribs were amazing. The bacon beans were awesome as well. We went during the wintertime and they have an open area picnic style seating, so it was kind of cold but not horrible. I can’t imagine how hot the summer would be. The parking was not great, we had to drive all the way to the back of the building to find parking on a side road.

Winner winner Jumbo short rib dinner!!!! I have been looking for a dino bone beef rib for a while now, and this one hit the spot! Definitely rich, so make sure to grab some extra sauce. I waiter 40 min, and it was well worth the wait.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. Explained how the differences between the barbecue sauces etc. I ordered the beef ribs, pulled pork, macaroni and cheese and barbecue beans. The ribs had to much fat on them and could have used alil more seasoning. Pretty much the same with the pulled pork. It had way to much fat vs meat ratio. The beans were also alil on the bland side. Now the macaroni and cheese stole the show for me. It was really good. I’ll will probably visit them again to see if it was just a bad day or a consistent thing.

Authentic and delicious! This barbecue spot feels like an old industrial space turned into a meat-lover’s haven. The pulled pork and ribs were tender and smoky, and the beef rib was huge, tender, and full of flavor. You can choose between hearty plates or sandwiches, and the sides are just as impressive—my broccoli and potato salad were both excellent. Portions are generous (especially the plates), making them easy to share. The in-house sauces—sweet, spicy, smoky, hot, or mild—are outstanding. We did wait in line on Saturday. The owner takes barbecue seriously, and it shows!

My second visit to Trax, it does not disappoint. Some of the best brisket I’ve had outside of Texas. Generous potions and everything I’ve had has been excellent. Definitely one of the best bbq places in Indiana.

You definitely need to come here if you like bbq.

This is going to be one of my regular lunch stops on my days off.
