First time coming here, and let me just say… It was fabulous. The restaurant was clean, everyone was friendly, the food was delicious. My husband and I could’ve easily split a medium pizza and a salad and that would’ve been enough. We will definitely come back. Our waitress Char was so energetic and friendly. Very personality was amazing. She did an amazing job!

My boyfriend and I came here around 6 PM on a weekday and were seated immediately. Our waitress was absolutely a sweetheart! She was super attentive and very accommodating. We ordered a Caesar salad, toasted ravioli, and P.E.I. mussels. Everything was delicious! I think the mussels might have been out of season because they were smaller than normal, but that’s still fine. I’ve been to this location many times in the past, and when the mussels are in season, they’re usually quite large! I highly recommend this place! It has a nice atmosphere, good vibe, and delicious food. I will definitely come back!!!

First time trying this place, and we were really impressed. The restaurant was clean with a great atmosphere. The appetizers were the standout—super tender calamari and shrimp packed with flavor. The soups and salads were also delicious. Dinner was good with generous portions, but the apps were definitely the highlight of the meal.

The most amazing gluten free options I’ve ever tasted. My sister has celiac but I don’t normally like the taste/texture of gluten free options this food was so amazing you couldn’t tell. We had fried calamari, garlic bread and spaghetti carbonara. I could eat my weight in the garlic bread!

We used to order from this restaurant before mainly calamari, we decided to give it a try today coz the photos on Google looked really good. We were welcome with very nice employees, I can’t complain about the service it was very very good. The calamari was as usual very good, tasted fresh and well cooked. My apple martini was very good as well. Then came our main order which was the cheese pizza, the chicken marsala and the pork chop with peppers. The cheese pizza was overly done which made the cheese very hard and rubbery, it was not great at all! The porkchops were cut very thick and dry and lastly the chicken marsala was not very flavorful I had to add salt to feel it. The noodle was maybe aldente but I wish it was a little bit softer. I will still surely be back for the calamari and the cocktails though and maybe try some other stuff on the menu.

We were greeted warmly and service was good, an other nice thing I noticed is that after each party they clean everything on the table.

Our french onion soup was one of the best I had and salmon was nicely done. I had high expectations for the cheese cake as well however it was not dense like I am used to but my daughter loved it.

We will definitely visit Traverso’s again.

What a nice dinner experience. From the server to the food we loved the evening. Wonderful soup and fresh crispy salads. I am not a wings person, but these were recommended, and we were bowled over. Great flavor, not overwhelming and crispy juicy heaven. Enough sauce to dip our bread in. The pizza here is outstanding. Warm thin crust with fresh ingredients. Tasty sauce and just the right amount of heaping cheese. The sausage was plentiful and tasted butcher shop fresh. One of the best pies I have had bar none. Now the ravioli was obviously hand made that day. Melt in your mouth pasta shell like I’ve never had before. What a delight. This is not your average kitchen, but an extension of this family’s home. The server was attentive and over performed to our every need. The manger checked on us with true intent. Not the usual rhetorical visit. Great job team.

First time here, & what a gem this restaurant is! Three of us, came on a Sunday for a late afternoon/ early evening dinner. The place was busy, but hardly had to wait for a table. The salads were perfect. Superb. Highly recommend the creamy garlic dressing. Our dinners were Fettuccine Carbonara, Shrimp Alfredo & Stuffed Eggplant. All the dishes were fantastic. I ordered the Stuffed Eggplant Parmesan, & it was perfection! I tasted the other two dishes that family ordered & they were delicious. I do wish I could of had more coffee, but they were indeed busy. Definitely will be back! I give it five stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you, Traverso’s, for a wonderful first time dining experience with you!

My wife and I dine here regularly and we are glad we do.Two brothers, Mike.and Paul, own and operate the restaurant and they do it all very well. The place is clean, comfortable and welcoming. The staff is friendly and attentive. The food is outstanding and portions generous. They have a very loyal customer base for good reason. Come here for an outstanding meal and overall experience.

This was my first time getting food here. I wanted to love it and have a new go to for gluten free pasta (the reviews raved about the options). But, I’m pretty upset. For $24 worth of food, I received a very small portion of meat sauce compared to the pasta. The spaghetti was cut up as pictured. I’ve never in my life received cut up pasta. It was likely overcooked and fell apart when they transferred it to the container. I’m so disappointed. I had the best dish ever at antico posto in oak brook. Next time I’d rather drive farther for great food.
