A really great place. The staff are absolutely amazing and kind and funny excellent food especially breakfast was amazing and very nice size portions and just overall a sense of just you know that Cafe, where you know people are just sitting with their families and and enjoying their day and meal honestly, probably one of the best recent restaurant experiences. I’ve had a long time greatly appreciated.

Waiter was super funny and helpful. The food here never disappoints me. I got the Rancheros Skillet and it was marvelous! I usually get the avocado eggs Benedict, which is also a very good choice. Travelers Inn is a very homey restaurant with great food at breakfast and lunch!

I really enjoy eating here when I am in Alexandria There Carmel rolls are the absolute best! They are made daily fresh in the kitchen and taste amazing! I also enjoy their variety of breakfast options. I love their omelettes, quesadillas, breakfast tacos, French toast, and Belgian waffle. They have quite an extensive menu So everyone can find something that they like. Definitely will be back. The staff is also very kind, friendly and attentive.

Turkey Pesto and Bacon sandwich was so good I had it half gone before I thought to take a picture! Very quick service and a friendly staff. Convenient spot to stop with the family while we were walking around downtown.

Fantastic restaurant in the heart of Alexandria. This café suits a diverse array of patrons. Initially we were greeted by an extremely accommodating host and that level of customer service carried throughout our dining experience. Wonderful array of dining options from classic diner counter seating to booths, large and small groups can be accommodated. The food was on point with our fairly sizable group of 10, given we did not have a reservation. Food was delivered timely and portions were generous. Highly recommend!

Travelers Inn in the heart of downtown Alexandria is a solid spot for a classic breakfast. Whether you’re craving pancakes, omelets, biscuits and gravy, or a sweet caramel roll, nearly every dish is made from scratch and served with care. The staff is gracious and efficient, and the atmosphere feels like a blend of old-school diner charm in the front with a more spacious, no-frills dining area in the back—perfect for our party of six.
Everyone at our table was happy with their meal and the service.
For road-trippers, families, or anyone looking for a comforting and unpretentious breakfast, Travelers Inn really stands out.

Great spot for Sunday brunch! Has that old school diner feel yet refreshed with cute modern decor. The large menu was full of breakfast and lunch classics and also very accommodating if you have dietary restrictions! My husband is gluten free and had many options including pancakes, french toast, and side of toast. I got the Avocado Smash Benedict and it was really good! Nice crispy hash browns too. They were a bit busy but we still got seated quickly and received excellent service. Will definitely return next time we’re passing through!

Great breakfast. More food than you can eat. Homemade too. Waitress was there immediately and checked on us often. I highly recommend this place as opposed to the franchise run places around town.

We were on our way home from Fargo, ND and decided to try this place for brunch. We cannot say enough good things about the food, the service and the atmosphere. Top notch for a small town restaurant. To go even further, we wish we had this restaurant closer to us in the Twin Cities! Everything we ordered was delicious! A must try if you’re just passing through or if you live nearby!
