Travelers Alehouse was once a standout in the local dining scene and quickly became one of my preferred places to go when it first opened. Unfortunately, my recent experiences have been a significant departure from those early visits. On my latest trip, the wait time for food was approximately 45 minutes after placing a very simple lunch order, which is far longer than what should be expected, especially during non-peak hours.
Equally disappointing was the level of service at the bar. Our bartender, Brittany, appeared far more engaged in conversations with other staff members than in attending to guests. We were not checked on for drink refills, nor were we given any updates regarding the delay with our food. Basic attentiveness and communication go a long way in creating a positive dining experience, and both were noticeably lacking.
When the food finally arrived, it did not reflect the quality that Travelers Alehouse was once known for. The dishes were mediocre and did not justify either the extended wait or the price point. This was particularly disappointing because the restaurant set such a high standard when it first opened.
With so many excellent dining options in town, maintaining strong service and consistent food quality is essential. It’s clear that this establishment has lost some of the focus that made it successful in the beginning. I genuinely hope management takes the necessary steps to address these issues, because the location, atmosphere, and original concept still have great potential. At this time, however, I cannot recommend it based on my recent experience.

We went for a late lunch/early dinner today around 2:30. We were a party of 5. Four of us, it was our first time there. The hostess greeted us right away and was so sweet. She got us seated and gave my 2 kids their menus and crayons. There were only 2 waitresses on but we didn’t wait too long before she came over. Plus she let us know that she’d be over in just a few minutes. We were ready to order so we ordered everything and it all came out great. The linguica pizza was really good. And we tried the bleu cheese burger & the jalapeño burger. Both were delicious!! But if you like a little spice, the jalapeño one was so so good. They have really good fries too! My oldest had ordered apple juice and didn’t like it, the waitress brought her over a lemonade right away. And my toddler made a stink about there being pickles on her plate lol And the waitress grabbed them off for her then grabbed a napkin and wiped the pickle juice off her plate. (Thank you for being so kind & helping us avoid a meltdown lol) Will definitely be back to try more menu items(:

We were a party of six. Our server Alex was pleasant, friendly, and knowledgeable. She made our dining experience enjoyable. We ordered a variety of items, from fish, sandwiches, salads, and everything was plentiful and delicious.
Our only concern was that it was a bit cold where we sat. We were just beyond the door, and although they had a screen, whenever the door opened, a cold draft came in. It was a definitely a cold evening, but perhaps they can find a way to mitigate the cold during the winter months, at least for tables close to the door.
We would all return again. Ask for Alex as your server, you won’t be disappointed.

I took my mother out for Mother’s Day and surprisingly, there was no wait so we got seated immediately. Even though it wasn’t busy, we waited quite a while for our server to first get our drinks and then to get our food order.
Mom ordered the fish and chips they give you a great portion of fish, steak fries and some coleslaw. I ordered the country stuffed chicken. The chicken was well cooked, the stuffing could have been a little more flavorful, in my opinion. We shared a delicious chocolate caramel cake.
They should have a dessert menu! Our server named off desserts and by the last one I forgot what she said!
In conclusion, it wasn’t an entirely horrible experience but I don’t think I will be back. Good luck

Recently went for dinner on a Saturday. Our meals, the steak tips were very good, taste wise we enjoyed them. However, it took forever to get our food and it came out cold. So it was obviously sitting around for a while before our server brought it to us. I could see if they were busy, but there were a ton of open tables and plenty of staff. Not sure where our server went, but was MIA for a long time. We also waited 30 minutes for a table despite there being plenty of openings most of the time. I would give a good score for the taste of the food, but the service was lousy.

I’d say this place is ok. I do love ramen Mondays. Otherwise the food is passable. I had a bowl of ramen on my last visit and it was near cold. It took quite a while for someone to come by so I could ask for it to be reheated. Eventually a young man came by and took the bowl and requested a completely remade bowl of soup. He was very nice and the company should hire more like him. My waitress never came until I was halfway through the new bowl of food. Overall the food is mediocre as well as service.

I was there for an event. The food was very good I had fish & my husband had steak & chicken. He said both were good. He’s doesn’t give good reviews often & he said the steak was so good. Went to dinner tonight and this was my first time eating at this place. I sat at the bar and ordered a strawberry lemonade which was very good. I then ordered pizza with bacon and tomato. The pizza was very good the crust was nice and crispy which I love. It cost 14$ cuz i added bacon and tomato. Not a bad price. I do wish the bottom was cooked just a lil longer just to make it lil more crispy at the bottom.

Popped in for lunch on a weekday. Clean and well decorated interior. Bar had a bit of a crowd but the dining area was empty. This had us surprised when our food took nearly 50 minutes to make it to our table as it was grilled cheese sandwiches. I’m going to be honest here I’ve been here so many times. Drinks are pretty good. A good place to get sloshed not so much for anything else. I waited 40 minutes for a soup and appetizer after waiting 20 minutes for them to tell me they didn’t have the other appetizer I ordered. Then ordered a side of fries that I NEVER received and paid $6 for them because I assumed the server would take it off. Not her fault but that’s crazy. I hope they enjoyed scamming me out of $6 cause they lost the opportunity to make anymore money off me. I won’t ever be back.
