Very nice experience! The mozzarella with the tomato sauce was very good! The home made bread made my night: had not had some good bread in two weeks. And the desserts were fantastic closure. I also liked the red house wine there. All in all a very nice experience.

Such a beautiful and amazing restaurant to come celebrate my 26th birthday 2/26 today with my sister , both of us first time experience at this exquisite restaurant, the restaurant itself was just so beautiful and the food was amazing and the bottle of whine was just absolutely yummy and exactly everything me and my sister wanted it was so spot on fruity and delicious and the ravioli was yummy we both had that and the desert was just absolutely amazing and so yummy and filling we had a chocolate bomba and Tiramisu highly recommend both deserts. Everything was perfect definitely will be back to try out more of the delicious food thank you to the chef and the whole restaurant. Just amazing.

Our food was completely delicious and the environment was so romantic. Our server Christopher was extremely charismatic and eager to ensure that we had the best meal possible. He even sent us home with extra bread. Thank you so much for making our meal great! We look forward to coming back.

We drive up from Westchester County, New York just to eat here. Authentic, fresh Italian food in a laid back setting. Has been a staple for well over a decade

We lucked out getting a reservation here. Lenox’ restaurantswas fully booked the weekend we went to the Berkshire!?! Great eggplant parmesan and Veal Siciliana. Service was warm and professional. Wonderful outdoor dining ambience. When the lights are lit, it’s very romantic.

Authentic meals that are lovely. Atmosphere is great. Tried new dishes and they did not disappoint! Meals are between 20 and 30 dollars. Many are made in the wood fired oven.

Worst service I’ve ever had at an Italian restaurant in my life. It’s like the waitstaff had received no training whatsoever. We each ordered a glass of wine with our appetizers, and at no point in the evening did anyone ask us if we’d like another glass. Even worse, although we saw the server on the other side of the dining room refill water glasses in his section regularly, nobody ever came to refill our water or even check to see if our glasses were empty, which they were for most of the meal. I had linguini with white clam sauce, which is not a thick sauce, but for some reason it was served in a flat plate, and when the busser came to take our plates away, she spilled the sauce all over the tablecloth and then proceeded just to leave it there. She didn’t apologize, she didn’t bring us a fresh tablecloth, she didn’t even cover it with a cloth napkin or something. When the waiter came back with our dessert menus, he looked right at it and proceeded to act like it wasn’t even there. This thing was more than a foot across, right in the middle of the table, with pasta and little chunks of garlic in it, and since he didn’t feel like doing anything about it, he acted like it wasn’t even there. In other Italian restaurants in this price range, water glasses are kept full, drink orders are attended to, and if so much as a breadcrumb soils the tablecloth, and not even breadcrumbs are left to soil the tablecloth between courses. There’s more, but I’d be here typing all night. This isn’t a matter of the restaurant being short staffed. They had adequate staff for the size of the dining room. The problem was staff with no professionalism, no training, and no basic common sense. We will not be coming back.

Had a truly weird dining experience here. When we walked in, we were greeted by the sight of a bar where a couple people were seated.

We asked if we could sit at the bar for a couple drinks before we were seated, and the hostess replied that customers aren’t allowed to sit at the bar- only employees are. This was so bizarre. If you don’t want customers at the bar (first off, why even have a bar then?), then you shouldn’t allow employees to sit there during business hours.

When we eventually were seated at a table, it only got weirder. We were almost immediately pressured for an order. Mind you, the restaurant was not at all packed and did not get busy the entire time we were there. We requested to have a couple drinks before we ordered food, which the waiter reluctantly accepted.

When our drinks finally arrived, we were again pressured for an order. We asked to order an appetizer while we figured out or entrees and enjoyed our drinks. Nope, we were told the kitchen has a rule that they won’t accept an appetizer order- they demand the entire order at once.

Another bizarre rule. At a high end establishment, I expect to be able to take my time with a meal. They shouldn’t be trying to churn tables at the prices you pay here.

So we order our appetizer AND our food. A few minutes later the waiter comes back and informs us that they are out of what my partner had ordered. Okay, it happens. She chooses something else.

A mere few minutes later, her plate comes out. Not our appetizer, and not my meal, but just her meal. ?!? This is why we wanted to order the appetizer first in the first place! We reminded the waiter of our appetizer, and he took back the plate. Finally the app arrived, and naturally, after only another minute or two the rest of our meal was brought out.

All of this would have been a bad enough experience had the food been great, but it wasn’t. The caprese salad was made with poor tomatoes and the pork tenderloin I ordered was dry and flavorless. The only thing that was okay was my partner’s gnocchi.

This place needs to step up customer service by 1000 percent, stop setting bizarre rules, stop trying to get people in and out like this is McDonald’s while charging Ritz prices, and reexamine the menu.
