We had brunch to celebrate my son coming to visit from out of state.
The atmosphere was cozy and casual. The restaurant is decorated very well with a comfortable space between tables.
The service was very good and out waiter was very attentive to our needs.
Everyone at the table wanted something different and everyone commented how good their food tasted.
I would definitely attend brunch there again and I think we will try dinner as well. A great experience.

I loved my server. I believe his name was Kendrick. I don’t know how he memorized the amount of specials they had!
They have homemade pasta which we got with the Rigatoni al Forno. The wedge salad was good. Pasta Fagiole was good. More like soup than some other places that usually make a thicker one.
I loved the prosciutto that came with the Burrata board was great with the garlic bread. The prosciutto felt fresh (some other places make it kind of slimy)
They have a parking lot and it’s clean inside.

The food is excellent, the service is amazing. And, probably the best eggplant parm in RI. The only challenge is that the steaks are somewhat flavorless (but, why are you going to an Italian place for steaks!?). So, stick with the italian dishes and you can’t go wrong!

Our experience started out good but didn’t end well.
Although we mentioned that we did not want to be rushed, our main course was served incredibly fast. My drink, an Expresso Martini was excellent. Caesar salad, very good. Tortelloni Ripieni Primavera was like eating soup. The tortelloni was overcooked and soggy. The Pappardelle Alle Bolognese was also soupy. These two sauces should be somewhat firm and not watery. We did mention this to our server. I don’t think we will dine there again. Very disappointing and not what we expected!

From the bar to the dining room can’t say enough about the first rate service here. How many places can you go can where you remember how wonderful the host at the front was? Well, here you can. Really friendly folks with an elegant atmosphere. The Italian food is fantastic, especially the pasta plates. Perfect setting if you’re celebrating something special.

Excellent food and service. We were originally planning to go to Pat’s Italian, which is close to Trattoria Romana. Pat’s was supposed to be open until 9 and when we arrived at 8:35 they had locked the main entrance so we opened the entrance to the bar and were told they decided to close early…on a Friday. Really disappointed with them now but there is a silver lining.
When heading back home we drove past Trattoria and although I had been to the Lincoln location I had not visited the Johnston one. I actually forgot it was even there but we decided to give it a shot.
So happy we did! I had chicken sorrentino and my girlfriend had veal sorrentino. Both excellent. We also had an octopus appetizer that was a special. That was cooked perfectly!
Our waiter was Travis and he was such a great waiter and representative of this excellent restaurant. Very friendly and knowledgeable on the menu. We will request him when we go back.
It was just a great experience all the way around. Better atmosphere too. We now have a new favorite restaurant!

We were a party of 6 celebrating a 75th birthday. Kendrick was our server & he couldn’t have been better. Not overbearing, attentive, knowledgeable. Three of us had chicken francaise & all agreed it had no flavor at all.

Had a fantastic Valentine’s Day dinner here! Even though the place was packed, I was seated immediately upon checking in for my reservation. Our server was attentive, kind, and made sure we had everything we needed. The manager also stopped by to check in, which was a nice touch. Great experience overall—I’d definitely return!

This place is absolutely beautiful inside. It was my first time here. I was floored with how beautifully it was decorated. That’s where the positive ended. We sat at the bar. There were only 2 other people at the bar when we first sat. A very sweet blonde girl with glasses greeted us and served our first round. She was personable and helpful. After that I’m assuming she was cut. We had a gruff inhospitable bartender after that. He worked service bar and took care of tables all while neglecting us at the bar. I asked about gluten free options and he informed me “that’s difficult here.” We were left without waters and with empty drinks wondering how, as the only people at the bar we were getting such horrible service. The gluten free chicken Marsala was flavorless and tough. I told him we were on a time constraint and he was super snarky and put the bill down “because you’re in such a rush.” I should have just waited to eat elsewhere. If the bartender had been the least bit apologetic or humble it would have been better. He was snooty and his delivery was awful. I have lived and dined all over the country and I will never eat here again. Stay away.
