We really loved this place. I called on a Saturday and booked 7pm on a Sunday. Free valet parking. Very welcoming hostesss. They seated us in the bar area while we waited for our table. Had a delicious martini. My dining partner had a glass of rosé. Bar waitress from Chicago very friendly & professional. Seated in main dining room. Great bread plate with sticks and focaccia. Marinated tomatoes were phenomenal. We ordered way too much food on purpose: charcuterie ( try the hot and sweet salamis as well as the Truffle flavored pecorino). Then we moved on to a Caesar salad and broccoli raab with sausage. Our main courses were pappardelle with short ribs and a grilled veal chop. Perfectly grilled medium rare as I ordered it. Finished off with a slice of magnificent strawberry shortcake, an espresso and digestivo. If you can get a reservation, go here. The couple dining next to us seemed incredulous that I was able to get a booking so apparently the place stays full all the time. Highly recommended. The place was packed with people having a grand old time engaged in conversation and enjoying the dining experience.

A very charming and enjoyable Italian restaurant. The atmosphere was lovely, the philosophy of the place is beautiful, and the service truly made the experience special. Our Italian waiter was absolutely adorable, warm and attentive from start to finish. He genuinely elevated the whole evening.
I was slightly disappointed by my pasta with clams, which came a bit too salty and somewhat bland, but everything else — the ambiance, the kindness of the staff, and the overall feeling of the place made it a very pleasant dinner.

Had dinner this evening at Trattoria Romana & Bar Solana. My second visit, and their Veal Parm is easily the best I’ve ever had. The Caprese and bruschetta were both excellent, full of flavour, and the Old Fashioned was perfectly made. Absolutely recommended.

The service was great! Could not have been better! Veal piccata great. This is the second time I ordered a seafood dish with the clams in white sauce first time was a special off the menu tonight with crab and shrimp and peas. The clams had so much sand in them it filled the broth as well and I couldn’t eat it. I tried and did not want to ruin the other guests dining experience by complaining but it was very expensive and inedible. Please clean the clams!

Came here with co-workers for dinner on a Tuesday evening… dinner time was 8PM and this place was PACKED! Crazy how popular this place is, but after looking at the menu and tasting the food, I could see why… they’re a pretty darn good Italian joint!
Their menu is quite complete with all the Italian popular items… then, the server advised us of the specials, which was a really long list and that was even better! They even had fresh hog fish here!!
All food was made with fresh ingredients and tasted great! Their meatball appetizer is huge, definitely splitable between 4 people and it was excellent! The meat was flavorful and tender and the sauce was great! The hog fish was incredible! Their chicken parm is huge and tender too! And save room for dessert because the ricotta cheesecake was excellent, but what was incredible was their strawberry shortcake!
Highly recommend coming here!

This place is a disorganized mess. We reserved a private room for a party. We got there a few minutes early to set up and they told us that there were still people at the table. There was nowhere to sit or wait. We had some elderly people in our party who could not sit anywhere. The waiters couldn’t get through the crowds and everybody was pushing and shoving. It was absolutely awful. After 45 minutes and no table we had to go somewhere else. If you make a reservation, make sure to show up 45 minutes later and you might get a table.

It was recommended by my server to get the giant meatball. I was upset about this because it was not very good. Very bland in flavor. The center had onion pepper and prosciutto, something I’ve never seen before, and did not like. The prosciutto in the center was dry.
I ordered rigatoni a la vodka with chicken the pasta was a bit over cooked and the vodka sauce was like water. The chicken was the best part of this dish. And most definitely not worth over $30 price point they charge for it. Overall I was not impressed with the food here, nor would I recommend either of these dishes.

Great bronzino, soft shell crab special was the best we ever had, pounded veal chop parmigiana also delicious. Seafood salad appetizer is big enough to share and was really good as was the eggplant Parmesan appetizer. One of the best restaurants in Boca. Service and food excellent
