Tonight I dined at Trattoria Roman Garden with my wife for our wedding anniversary night. It is such a beautiful restaurant in a little Italy part of Cleveland. When you go for this restaurant, have some extra room in your tummy to check out other restaurants nearby. Location is a strong plus for this restaurant.
Speaking about Trattoria Roman Garden – it has got a big parking space, wheelchair access and wonderful ambience. We had zucchini fries for appetizer pasta, and pizza for main course and finished our dinner with the cannoli. Our waitress Lajla (Layla) took care of us exceptionally well. We had a request to remake the pasta because of the spice level and the chef did it without even hesitating. We got a re-order within five minutes, and it tasted as we expected.
Overall, this is one of the best wedding anniversary night experiences we have had and we will return back to this place once again this year.
Thank you very much team.

I recently visited this restaurant after hearing great things about their variety of meals, including gluten-free options, and it did not disappoint. I had the house salad with grilled chicken, which was divine — the chicken had a wonderful garlic char flavor, not dry at all. My husband ordered the chicken Alfredo, and it was chef’s kiss perfection.
We left full and happy, thanks not only to the delicious food but also the friendly service. Our waitress was attentive and kind. The atmosphere was lively, and since the restaurant tends to get crowded (for good reason), I’d recommend making a reservation if you’re coming with a group of three or more.
There’s complimentary bread when you’re seated, a nice touch, and the two-story layout includes a bar in the front if you prefer a more casual vibe. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, and we’ll definitely be back!

What a unique joint. The food was so fresh and really tasty. The service was fast and flawless. I had mushroom ravioli and my wife had lasagna. She ate half and was full. The portions are plenty for sure. You’ll love this gem in Cleveland’s little Italy.

Absolutely loved it! We went for lunch around 1:30pm on a Thursday. I got the Spaghetti and clams, with shrimp added. It was amazing!! The server was also a sweet girl who would get you what you needed, but would also speak with you about the cool squash they had growing around the garden outside (that’s where we ate). Husband had the spaghetti and meatballs and the meatballs were also so amazing, I do prefer a more meaty sauce than what they had with his dish, but still great!

We came to town for a surgery and after eating hospital food for over a week was looking forward to eating at a nice Italian restaurant. Arrived early at 5:15 for dinner service and there was only 1 other table that was seated at the time. We ordered and food arrived in a timely fashion, luke warm! I had the eggplant Parmesan from the special menu with a chicken cutlet on the side. Both were barely warm, not made to order.
The ambiance was nice and the restaurant filled up pretty quickly and I’m sure if the food was the correct temperature, would have been good.

I used to eat here a lot years ago. Moved away. Known for generous portions. This time i had the gnocchi with creamy tomato sauce. Sooo good hard to put into words. Big portions as usual. The bread is also outstanding!

Went on Valentine’s Day and had a mixed experience. The food was hands down incredible very rich and creamy sauces and great fresh pasta ! Serving sizes for our entrees were very hearty for the price point ! We were definitely pleased by that ! We were given an initial bread in which was very crunch and hard ?? Another downfall was the server assistant , he was very aggressive about getting plates/ glasses off the table , some in which we had not yet finished. It was a little overwhelming. Our server was nice and accommodating but at times would not come to our table for awhile which upset us a bit . Mind you it felt as if she disappeared and this place is not a huge restaurant by any means. The dining area is very small and crammed with like only 3 booths. We watched other tables around us receive constant visits and requests fulfilled.white we waited and had to ask other staff to get things that we needed. They didn’t even have salt our pepper on the tables ! So we had to wait for that etc etc. At the end we ordered dessert which was phenomenal. No doubt that their food is incredible Italian cuisine! But once again the service was not up to par as the food was unfortunately. Another server came up to our table without introduction and just grabbed our signed and paid out checkbook and simply said goodnight . The original server never finished our visit and just disappeared once again . While waking out to leave we seen her and had to speak to her telling her Thankyou have a good night .

Stopped in for an impromptu lunch date on a Saturday while in the area. Right as they opened we were able to get seated immediately. The service was quick & all the employees were so friendly. We tried the House Salad, Wedding Soup, Chicken Piccata & Margarita Pizza. Everything was fabulous. The bread even came with a chunky red sauce for dipping which was amazing. We skipped on dessert but the cakes in the dessert cake looked delicious.
