Reviews
An offshoot of the Venetian Hotel original, both locations open for lunch and dinner daily, guests arriving at Trattoria Reggiano at lunch are greeted by just one server and white-papered tables while 80s and 90s “Top 40” play subtly overhead.
Priced lower at the Downtown Summerlin location than on Las Vegas Boulevard, also offering a weekday Happy Hour, complimentary Garlic Knots are no longer offered during the daytime (and nor can guests offer to buy them.)
Showing two different NFL games on televisions at the bar, while those without interest in sports can watch an open kitchen including the enormous Pizza oven, Cocktails include the herbaceous “Eternal Summer” plus Limoncello Spritz that pair well to Appetizers such as tightly packed Meatballs or an Antipasto Board
Less impressed by Pizza, the unleavened Crust neither Roman or Neapolitan nor Sicilian, credit is due for at least usimg imported Ingredients ranging from Prosciutto to aged Balsamic plus good Olive Oil.
Not a space trying to reinvent the wheel, ownership by Fifth Avenue Restaurant Group placing Trattoria Regianno in the same portfolio as many Las Vegas casino food courts, Penne a la Vodka is acceptable despite limp Pasta while Linguine & Clams is generous with both Garlic and Bivalves.
Importing some Desserts while fabricating others on-site, the Cheesecake lighter than many but still quite rich, fans of Cannoli will find two varieties piped fresh with sweet Ricotta while the Tartufo cracks to a knife yielding three creamy layers of Gelato.
The atmosphere was… clustered. There is 2 bathrooms bith single bathrooms and I had to wait for 2 people in front of me for about 10 min total. To be fair the 1st person took the longest and the second was maybe about 3 minutes. When it takes that long im usually not… excited to be next lol.
The table set up is a little clustered like I said but its not a very big place so I get it. But not 5* worth. I gave four because it was a good place and id go again just not an amazing place and also the price is a little high for what you get but… what isnt these days right…?
As fir the service we had a male server, I got 1 refill my drink sat there for about 2/3 of my time and I drank my friends water later on. I had an Arnold Palmer as I usually do. The guy was nice though so it aint like it was bad service just again not amaaaaazing service so… 4* cant get perfect 5 if it aint really a perfect 5. And I dont blame him it was steady… they also have live entertainment which was cool I always love a place with a good vibe so that was a nice touch.
In the end. Yes I would go back and treat it like… a step up from olive garden.
I ordered the fettuccine and added salmon. The food was absolutely delicious. The pasta was $19, salmon was an extra $14, and with gratuity, the total came to $50 for one person. A bit pricey, but the quality made it worth it.
Overall, the service was friendly and the food was great. I’d come back, but a few small improvements would go a long way.
