amazing experience with the team and our server jesus! the food was hot and flavourful, really loved the octopus! the staff were attentive and even adjusted our table for a more enjoyable experience. would definitely come again!

We stopped here with our two kids.
The restaurant is located at the corner of 80th in front of the park. It is difficult to find parking and have to get lucky. I recommend parking in the inner streets to avoid the meters but you have to get lucky and find one.
We had a Caesar salad, calamari, table bread, half margarita pizza, half sorentina pizza, rigatoni’s bolognese, seafood spicy spaghetti.
Everything was delicious, we really enjoyed the margarita pizza. It’s been the best one we have tried. Cappuccino was made fresh and you can tell the quality.

Went here for a date night with my wife! It has a very nice Italian ambience. Food was ok…we had the mussels and the tri colore pizza! I like the freshness of the mussels and the ricotta on the pizza, but it could have used some spice for an extra kick! The service was excellent

Pretty good! I had a good time with my family while we were here. Servers were very ready to help. We had pizza and dessert; pizza had good sauce, but bread wasn’t my favorite. We had canole and catalan for dessert, both are very sweet, some of us liked it and some didn’t. If you got a sweet tooth, you’ll like it.

Had lunch with a friend recently. The service was very good. Super friendly and fast. The atmosphere was nice, a little crowded and loud, but nicely decorated and clean. I was excited with the menu choices. We had grilled baby octopus and the chicken, avocado salad. The octopus was displayed beautifully over large grilled zucchini, but it was very chewy and fishy. We didn’t finish it. The salad was good, fresh, but I wasn’t overwhelmed by it. The tomatoes weren’t great and it was oily. Fresh bread was also provided which was absolutely delicious. I did see a lot of specialty pizzas at other tables that looked really good. I would like to try one of those if I go back.

So Sunday night, we leave Sojo in Edgewater. We’re dying to get some of the delicious octopus at Trattoria Sorentino. But we get there late around 910 and they started closing the kitchen. When we asked if we can sit down and they serve us at first they said no but then they said yes. Very cool! We brought a couple who had never had their food before.
We ordered the grilled octopus, margarita, pizza, and mussels and a couple other dishes. All of the food is absolutely amazing. The service is spot on friendly, warm, professional attentive.
Our friends absolutely loved it. We try to get here as often as possible to have their delicious Neapolitan food you should too. You will not regret it. It’s absolutely amazing.

I’ve been coming to Trattoria La Sorrentina for years and every single time it’s amazing. The pizza, pasta, and steak are always perfect. The service is awesome, and the food comes out steaming hot every time. The taste is seriously to die for.

I’m leaving this review here because this is the second time it has happened. In the first order, I ordered a pizza and it arrived completely smashed, as if it had been thrown into the box. In the second order, which was today, we ordered a pizza, chicken parmigiana, a salad that arrived without the chicken, and a pasta dish—and absolutely everything arrived crushed, and to top it off, the pizza was missing.
This place has great flavor, but unfortunately, their presentation is terrible, and they are not careful with how they deliver the orders. They need to consider the customer’s experience when receiving the food and put themselves in the customer’s position above all else.

Absolutely blown away by this place! It’s hands down the best Italian food I’ve had in New Jersey, and I can’t believe I only just found it.
Everything was incredible – the mussels, baby octopus, penne boscaiola, and tiramisu were all fantastic, but the b-line pizza is a must-try!
Even with all that deliciousness, the bill came out to under $100. For this quality, it’s an absolute steal!

Does not get any better than this in Jersey. 5/5 + muscles are very very good. Would recommend!!
