Our friend recommended that we visit when I spoke to him about going to the coast from Poway for dinner. I’m so glad we did! Parking was easy at 430pm on Sunday. We made a reservation and were greeted warmly & seated with warm bread & a very delicious red dipping sauce with a bit of a spicy taste! We finally narrowed our choices down to lobster ravioli & a salmon dish that were even better that we expected! Everything tasted wonderfully homemade & was presented beautifully! Ample portions and we each had a glass of wine & water. Staff was very attentive but not intrusive at all. We really enjoyed everything and were curious about the photos on the walls that added to the Italian flavors & ambiance so we did a little checking and learned what Trulli meant. I’ll let you learn for yourself. Fun story.

Excellent flavor on the Veal Piccata, small portion, could have been more veg considering $37. Gnocchi was a 3.5 out of 5, good but not amazing. Nice cozy spot, great service.

We discovered this place during the Covid pandemic while driving through the coast, it has become our favorite Italian Restaurant in Encinitas. I usually get the vodka salmon which is awesome, however, this time I had the Cioppino which was great. For dessert the usually get the creme brûlée but this time we decided to try something different, strawberry Napoleon, it was awesome!!

started with the burrata crostini special which was delicious and then ordered the lobster pasta special and the pesto pasta. both pastas were fresh, flavorful, and large portions.
finished with the crème brûlée which i cannot recommend. it tasted almost as if it was old. the custard was a very hard consistency and the sugar layer was entirely too thick.
would still recommend restaurant just wouldn’t recommend crème brûlée.

We come from Naples Florida each year for a month. I read the reviews and saw a picture of the lamb chops which looked delicious. I made a reservation and showed our waitress a picture of them and asked if they actually looked like them. She assured me they would. I am so glad I ordered them. They were perfection. the 8 lollipop chops were the best! I will return again for sure

The care taken in each of these dishes definitely shows. The service is friendly and very accommodating for specific dietary needs and restrictions.
This time around I tried the gluten free gnocchi that had a cauliflower base. It was absolutely delicious. Before this I’ve only ever had regular gnocchi, but this gluten free version did NOT disappoint. Great texture and flavor with the steak bites and reduction sauce. Hubby had the lobster ravioli… That saffron sauce was spectacularly delicate and creamy. Can we make a gluten free version of that ravioli possibly? Or does it exist…? I probably should’ve asked.

Wow. We *just* ate here and WOW. The Lobster Ravioli & Tira Misu were divine! Mouth watering …. we chose this place because it was much less “peopley” than places further down the strip. We made the right call. It wasn’t very busy – but honestly … it should be continuously packed because the food is *that* good.
If you haven’t eaten here yet – you are missing out on the best Italiain food we’ve had since leaving St Louis.

Delicious. We went on a whim based off google reviews and it did not disappoint. We got the meatballs which melted in your mouth, followed by salad, ravioli and rigatoni pizzocoto as our entrees. The wait staff recommended a Tuscany wine which paired great with our meal. They were perfectly proportioned and tasty. Pasta was cooked perfectly. We had the mouse chocolate cake for dessert which was moist and light. Perfect dinner. Wait staff was fast and made great recommendations. We will definitely be back.
