Our first time here & wont be our last! Everything was delicious. Eileen our waitress was excellent and knowledgeable and made great recommendations. It’s a scratch kitchen and everything was fresh and yummy. We had fried calamari, then got the chicken special with vodka sauce & the lasagna! Took home some dessert also.

Had dinner here for the first time this evening. Food was delicious. Some of the best crab cakes I’ve ever had. The artichoke hearts were truly excellent. The steak Anna with the sauce and the carbonara were scrumptious.

I finally tried something other than the homemade raviolis and this chop is Better than Bascom”s!!! Chef Ronnie prepares the best Duroc pork chop in Pinellas. It’s the best tasting, most flavorful and tender chop done just perfect. He and the rest of the team do a fantastic job. Paired it with the Pinot Nero tonight for wonderful meal at a great price.

This restaurant was exceptional! The food was beyond incredible. Grass fed, and pasture raised proteins, in house made pasta cooked perfectly and every seasoning was just perfect. The best pork chop I have ever had. Everything was perfect. Thank you Aileen for being the best! We will be coming back for more.

Food was good overall. The restaurant was 86 tiramisu, the house red wine, the eggplant rollatini, and we took the last lasagna order at 5pm. Two of those items I wanted to order but it’s a smaller mom and pop place. The waitress was very nice and was working as fast as she could, but she had us waiting to order and to get our bills. I would ask for her again because she was so kind and knowledgeable. They could use more servers or help clearing tables for a more seamless dinning experience. Dining on a Tuesday, I can’t blame them though. The highlight of the meal was the lemon dessert! Open for only 8 months so overall good! We will be back!

Since relocating to Dunedin, I have been on the lookout for exceptional Italian cuisine, and after six long years, my search has finally come to an end. The calamari, de Murray’s crab cakes, and every dish I have savored have exceeded my expectations. Such a cute little Italian gem. The food was absolutely out of this world, and you can really taste the quality in every dish— no seed oils, just clean, flavorful ingredients. We celebrated my husband’s birthday at this restaurant. Our server was attentive with a lively personality. The food was average at best. I ordered the Carbonera, easy pancetta. It was extremely salty. My husband ordered the Veal Chop. It was butterflied, breaded and bland. Not at all what we expected. We shared our thoughts with our server. He wrapped our leftover food and set it on the table, which we did not take with us
The atmosphere is blah and reflects the fact the location is in a strip mall.

I had the best Italian food since I was in Italy many years ago! I will definitely return. My server was Jason. He made my experience beyond expectations! And my birthday extra special, even giving us the special VIP service.

I looked forward to going here for my birthday. I showed up not knowing I needed a reservation. For now on I will do so. He made an exception as it was my birthday and my husband & I had my 93yr old mother with me.

Jason explained in detail the wine and dishes of the day. We choose the suggested wine, crab cake appetizer, the veal chop & the risotto of the day. I got what I went in for- the gnocchi gorgonzola. Not one dish disappointed. My husband said it was the best veal chop he has ever had. The desserts were phenomenal.

Our experience at Trattoria D Anna was amazing. We were happy to see a new restaurant open in our area. There were four us, we started with meatball appetizers and grilled artichokes. Both appetizers seemed to be old world style family recipes that were full of flavor. The hot olive bread was crispy and the olive oil dip that came with was packed with great spices. We then had chicken Marcella with grilled veggies, angle hair Bolognese sauce, and gnocchi. All of the sauces on our dishes were delicious and so full of great flavors. My husband said the Chicken Marcella sauce was some of the best he has ever had. The service was impeccable and the drinks were cold. Hats off to the chef for pulling out all the stops and bringing real authentic Italian flavors to Dunedin florida.
