Very good Italian food in a lively atmosphere. The caprese salad was excellent. Full of flavor from the tomatoes and pesto. The linguine entree was al dente and homemade. We wanted the eggplant parmigiana but they were out of it that evening. Had the chicken Parm instead which was huge and plenty to take home afterwards. The chicken Milanese was also very good. The bluefin tuna was tasty but overcooked. We sat inside which was fine until the place got full and then it was very loud. Overall a pleasant evening and we will definitely come back. FYI we did bring our own wine.

Trattoria Carina is a delicious Italian spot which I’d definitely recommend to friends. It was very busy at 9pm on a Saturday – snag reservations if you’re planning to visit. The vibes and atmosphere inside were inviting, and the service quite attentive. The food and drinks we received were all excellent. We didn’t try any cocktails, but the options seemed solid. Had a great time!

A good Italian restaurant with a kind of live kitchen, a cozy atmosphere and good vibes. We ordered burrata, gemelli, chicken Parmesan, linguine, for the drinks we had negroni and peroni and for dessert we tried tiramisu. The quality of dishes was good and the quantity was good enough to serve two people. Our favorite was burrata and tiramisu.

Most underrated Italian food in Philly. The food is so fresh and delicious. The staff were so attentive. I went with a large group for a celebration and every single person at the table enjoyed their meal. The pea toast was one of the best appetizers I’ve ever had. Will definitely be returning soon!

One of the best Italian restaurants we’ve had in Philadelphia! Don’t let this small restaurant fool you, they pack BIG flavor. The food is fresh and the service is great. We tried the spicy crab pasta, the chicken parm, and the tiramisu. We loved everything we had and will definitely be back.

The place was packed when we got there and we didn’t have a reservation, they tried their best to squeeze us in, in 45 mins.

The food was amazing. Got the burrata and meatball app, red wine and seafood spaghetti. Everything was perfect and very tasty. The service was great. Around 6:30pm on a weeknight or did get quite loud inside so for a quieter night I’d probably go there for lunch, early dinner or book a table outside. But everything else 10/10! Probably my favorite Italian spot in Philly.
