Food is tasty, but the portion is small, so I recommend to add an entrance to your plate. Really nice place. We ordered Pappardelle and Canneloni and a salad that started with ice something (we no longer have the menu with us, sorry) and latte

A quiet ristorante to eat at in the heart of the Tenderloin! I enjoyed the serene atmosphere and had fun chatting with my family as we waited for our meals. Other reviewers are correct though – you will most likely need an appetizer to satisfy you, as the portion sizes for their dinner options range from small to medium. My canneloni was perfectly portioned for myself, but for a taller/bigger person, they might feel a little let down. Their dessert options were great, and my niece and I devoured the brownie! The kids menu wasn’t really anything to write home about though and it’s definitely on the pricier side, even for San Franciscan options. If you’re traveling with kids, keep that in mind.

Ten out of ten for eating dinner. Great vibes and good service. Amazing food and super fast service as well. Definitely will go on a date here or for feeling posh once in a while. Though it’s quite affordable. I don’t remember the dish we got but it was some meat with fried polenta. I recommend it but I still cannot make my mind over the polenta.

First off let me say there’s no way this place has this many 5 star reviews. I had reserved a hotel at the same location of the restaurant. Me and my wife order the appetizer of Chicken thighs. I order a hamburger with fries and she orders pasta and meatballs.. well soon after we placed our order, me and my wife were greeted by a roach crawling around the establishment like he was our waiter, waiting to take our order himself. That was our first sign we should of left. 2nd, the chicken thighs were just seasoned in lemon too the point where I couldn’t taste anything else besides lemon. Our entree was actually pretty good after it was all said in done. Our bill for those 3 items was 65$ but upon returning to our table our waiter informed me he “accidentally” swiped my card for another table for 388$! I mean come on. How does someone who’s been waiting tables for years make such a bonehead mistake. The restaurant manager came over apologized to me and my wife but this was a mistake and there was nothing he could do, nor offer us to make things right. He also told us told us it would take 24-48 hours for the 388$ to be added back to my account.

The pizza was great, other items the sizes were lacking but quality food. If you go in a group just get ready for mysterious items on your bill. Doesn’t matter if you point out the weekend pricing on a weekday, that will only turn into additional items on your bill. An extra beer, an extra whole pizza etc. Take a picture of the itemized list before you try to pay, because that’s not coming back and the totals will be different.

After a long travel day, we were starving and wanted something close to our hotel. We didn’t research, just picked the closest place. We started our meal with the focaccia and the meatballs. Both were absolutely fantastic. For our main course we ordered the pappardelle pasta and the pizza with prosciutto, roasted grapes, arugula, balsamic, and goat cheese. I’m not exaggerating when I tell you this was the best pasta and pizza I have ever had – and I consider myself well pretty well traveled. The service was great, the drinks were strong. I don’t know how this place doesn’t have 5 stars.

Nice spot on the corner. Great atmosphere. The meatballs and polenta were delicious but the doughnuts were definitely lacking something. I took them to go thinking they would taste different after cooling off but they tasted the same as in restaurant. I threw them away. They left a weird after taste in my mouth. I would return to this restaurant I just won’t get doughnuts again. Our server was awesome.
