Pretty disappointed with the representation of the food and what was actually given.

It’s my birthday and I was super excited to have sushi! I ordered 2 Uncle Steve’s for pickup so I could take it home… I absolutely love spicy tuna and masago, but when I got it they had barely any masago on it… it was so disappointing.

Hey guys! Don’t forget to never order STEAK teriyaki from Trappers… for 25$ this is what you get! Support Oshio you’ll get triple the food for half the price and it doesn’t look like dog food! Ordered this for my husband to go and was embarrassed to even give it to him… STEAK Teriyaki 1 of 5 stars, also, y’all’s salmon is getting real thin…. I have to remember trappers isn’t the high end place it was 10 years ago! I really wish this photo reflected how ridiculously small this serving was… even the rice was half of what was the on chicken teriyaki plate we got in store. Just disappointed. I opened the box and laughed! Like this was seriously what they charged me $25 for!

It’s about time I leave a review. These guys are the BEST. We are regulars- usually eat at the bar for all you can eat sushi. My fav rolls are the Mt. Rainier, Covington, Phoenix, Mr. Charlie-my top four rolls!) Their calamari’s is so good on the appetizers.
All of their rolls are delicious. Fish is fresh, flavor is on point. The customer service is fantastic. Well worth the stop!

Pro tip request low sodium soy sauce- game changer in allowing all the flavors come through but still enjoy the soy sauce layer.

Well a year later this has become our favorite go to restaurant. Excellent service, & fresh food!

Shoutout to Chloe the sushi chef at the bar! She makes the best rolls. Yumm.

Wow. These guys are amazing. First time to a Trappers, and it’s incredible. They handled my fiancés shell fish allergy with the utmost care, safety, and professionalism. Every roll she ordered, they made sure to avoid any cross contamination as a whole team effort.
The food was a 10/10. Best sushi we have had in a VERY VERY long time.
The all you can eat bar was awesome. Everything you order is made right in front of you all while they are very professional, friendly, welcoming, and enjoyable.
Offering suggestions and making custom rolls for us.
Something to be said when you can tell the people that are making your food love their job and are enjoying what they do.
We will for sure be coming back every time we visit.

Good service, the waitress was doing her best with what she’s got. However, even for a trappers, which I knew was wasn’t going to be the best, this is some of the worst food I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. We waited almost 45 minutes for the food to get to the table. There was barely any fish in the tempura roll, and the nigiri both tasted and looked like it was made this morning, will absolutely not be returning.

Hands down, the best sushi joint in town. We arrived just in time to catch their happy hour special, where they offer 3 rolls for only $33. We got the Mt.Si, Mt.Rainer & the sky walker, all of which were amazing. The sushi is so fresh it practically swims onto your plate. The service was attentive yet unobtrusive, enhancing our dining experience. If you’re after a laid-back spot with killer sushi, this is it. 5 stars, no question.

We’ve been here twice and have had the same waitress both times, Haili. The first time, she was super bubbly and nice until the end. Probably because the restaurant had JUST opened. By the end, she seemed irritated and short with us. The food was good but we were served 4 pieces of baby octopus instead of the proper amount of fried calamari.
Tonight we went there, full of excitement and ready for good sushi. Instead we were put at the same tiny table with the same waitress and ended up leaving very unhappy.
We asked to move so we had more space. We were able to move thankfully, the restaurant was very slow at the moment. Then we continued to order many different rolls to try. I asked for all my rolls to have cucumber added. We were asked if we wanted to do the happy hour 3 for $33 and we said no since a lot of ours were $10 for happy hour. We asked for LOTS of ginger and 2 large spicy mayos. We got a reg thing of ginger and after 45mins, and asking for it again, we were given 2 small spicy mayos. Our tempura was undercooked and ended up making us both sick. There was no cucumber in any of my rolls. When i asked about it, she said she was very sorry but she forgot to add it to the order. She brought me a bunch of sliced ones instead, which I thanked her for. Unfortunately they tasted old and not fresh AT ALLLLL.
It took 15mins to get a refill on our drink and then she started having an attitude when we asked for more ginger. We then were rarely checked on and I had another lady come up to bring us more spicy mayo after trying to get Haili’s attention. She was very kind!
When we were finally checked on again, we asked for boxes, we had TONS of leftovers. We were both given 1 box which wouldn’t hold it. We asked for another and were given smaller flimsy ones.
She brought us our checks and then refused to come back, even though she made straight eye contact with me.
When I saw the receipt, I was charged for the 3 for $33 instead of the $10. She said she’d given me a better deal but she could fix it if I wanted her to. I’m sorry, but I was charged $11 for each instead of $10. I kindly declined and handed her my card. She didn’t offer us to put our number in for our points and she fake smiled and walked away.
Then to top it off. She glared at my wife when she walked past her. The amount of rudeness and low quality food provided to us today was completely unacceptable!
