We had a great experience at Trappers! From the minute we walked in, they were attentive and accommodating. The restaurant itself has a nice homey interior. We had a very large group (16), and even though it took a minute, they found room for us. Our waitress Tammy was a hoot! She figured out really fast that we all love to laugh and joke around, and she joined right in. She got all the orders right despite us being a bit high maintenance, kept our drinks full, and when it came time for dessert, she had a detailed list of pie flavors ready for us. Between the 16 of us, we tried a good variety of menu items, and everyone enjoyed the food. They have quite a few bread choices for sandwiches, which we always appreciate when we eat out. And their selection of pies was great! I had the banana cream pie and would definitely recommend it. If you are ever in Taylor, stop by Trappers for a bite. You won’t be disappointed!

Awesome place to eat. The food is old fashion and very delicious. Me and my grandfather very much enjoyed the special. Ham with two eggs, hashbrown, and toast of your choice. Made fresh and from scratch. Better then Dennys for breakfast.

Nice specials, breakfast was great. The pies that you can buy there…. Are the best part!!! Yummy!! Highly recommend a coconut cream pie. It might not might it back home to the valley/wherever you are going.

Most of their food is good. I can’t say it’s great, but for sure, the chicken fried steak was one of the worst I’ve ever had. Seemed like it was frozen then microwaved and served. Our waitress was great. I come here because their lemon cream pie is worth me driving 3 hours for it.

Stopped here for a late lunch. Huge gravel lot across the road so easy parking when the farmers market isn’t running. I don’t know how parking is when it’s running.

Wonderful food. We got the biscuit’s & gravy and country fried steak and loved it! The country relaxed atmosphere was really nice, especially with the cute decorations. And we got our food really fast! (Faster than I get stuff from McDonald’s sometimes!) Next time I’m grabbing a pie to go!

Quiet restaurant with very nice waitresses. The waitresses know the menu and don’t push selections. The day we were there, two large groups filled the back room and we had to wait longer than usual for our meals. This was not the norm.
