First off, they got us in for lunch without a reservation. Our server Carlin, was very polite and kind. The food, in general is pretty decent. However, it took a long time to even get our order in, including drinks. Let alone the food!! It took over ONE HOUR to get our food. We were probably there for 2 hrs, we were not drinking or hanging out, we just wanted to eat a quick lunch.

Food is excellent, service and operations need work. There is always a lot of extra tables but OpenTable will say they’re sold out. The patio has a lot of potential but you have to order at the bar, the drinks all come out in plastic, and service is slow. Aspen Cloud 9 prices with mid service and experience. Wild to offer $400 champagne and caviar here.

I’ve had lunch at Trappers a few times now, and each time it’s been great. I really love having an upscale place on the slopes to sit down, being waited on, and enjoy refined food.

It should be the best spot for the lunch on a ski day. The view is breathtaking on a sunny day, and the dining room is elegant and cozy.
Unfortunately food and service are subpar.
You see a lot of waiters going around without a goal while you wait long time to be served (time that you would prefer spending on your skis). The food portions are very small and not very well executed, definitely not worth the price.
We took a chicken Paillard, with very dry – no more than 2oz of – chicken.
Sides are not included, not even fries. So we had a salad, we got literally 5 leaves of it…
Of course they charge the tips automatically.

On mountain dinning with sit down service. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice being able to look out at the mountain. Food was well prepared.
