Was driving by and decided to check this place out. Ive seen it on social media and heard good things but havent had a chance to try it till today we got the Jerk Salmon sandwhich, jambalaya rice, dirty rice with turkey, and spaghetti. We loved everything. It had so much flavor and wish I hae ordered more! The guy that worked there was friendly answered questions and reccomended items. Def will be back to get the sides again and try the jerk turkey ribs and jerk chicken next time! Highly reccomend!

The space is dope, creative, and a cultural expression of black and Jamaican cultures. It feels small, locally owned, and unique. Their jerk rib slab is tender and juicy and well cooked. The dirty rice is filling a seasoned. And their oxtails, though their most expensive item, is large, juicy, and tender. And it lays on a bed of rice soaked in seasoned broth.

Ordered catfish dinner & it was soooo incredibly spicy that no one in my home could enjoy it & everyone eats spicy foods here. I call, not expecting much tbh, but everyone, including the 1 whom answered the phone to Chef P was not only calm, kind, & respectful but willingly rectified the situation. Sometimes on the east side of Indy u get people who don’t care abt anyone or anything & r SO RUDE. to Trap got Soul, let’s all go support this small business!!!

We ordered the lamb chops and jerk wings with 2 sides , unfortunately they were out of wings so instead they gave us 4 turkey ribs. And lemme just say Thank the soul food heavens for those turkey ribs ! I have never had a rib that tender, flavorful, and meaty in my ENTIRE life !We also had a side of spaghetti and you can’t tell me someone’s granny isn’t in the back putting her foot in that pot! We were about to leave and I had to get some corn bread for the road I shouldn’t have expected anything less it was Hot, sweet, and delicious!!!! Overall 10/10 most deff Recommend! Someone get Keith Lee over to this spot to have his turkey rib life changed !

I ordered via Uber Eats. Was my first time trying this place. EVERYTHING was soo damn good. Those salmon bites (not dry, not greasy, moist, flavorful but not over seasoned, and not fried in a ton of batter) were the best I’ve ever had. I don’t eat beef and pork and they have a TON of turkey options, such as the turkey dirty rice I ordered that was amazing. I also had the creole green beans and sweet potato mash—stand outs all on their own as well. I had to call the restaurant and tell the manager just how much my palate was satisfied. Give this place a try. I’m a foodie and wouldn’t steer you wrong!

My husband just stopped in to get carry out. He said he met the owners & they were super nice. I ordered the catfish dinner, with red beans & rice & greens. He wanted the rib dinner but it was sold out so he got jerk wings with fries. The food was still hot when he got home & I dug in!! The catfish was melt in your mouth delicious!! I loved the beans & rice & greens! So nicely seasoned & delicious! My husband said the wings were perfectly cooked & the right amount of heat. We’re very excited to have a new favorite restaurant so close to home!

This is my favorite food joint ! We have had the jerk wings, jerk turkey tips, salmon tone loc sandwich, baked beans, cabbage, green beans, dirty rice, okra, & cornbread. I requested honey on my cornbread because of preference and that was no issue for them to make sure we were satisfied. The food is AMAZING and a great price for the portions. Very satisfied and will continue to travel just to get their food ! 10/10

The service is UNMATCHED! We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in! I highly recommend you experience this food! It wasn’t just eating it was an EXPERIENCE, the flavors. . AMAZING!!! The cabbage was so DELICIOUS I drank the juice ! My lamb chops PERFECTION! Im regretting now that we didnt get the larger size Gumbo because after the first bite I did NOT want to share with my husband!! We will DEFINITELY be back to try MANY other menu items! RUN and give them a try you will be satisfied, have a full stomach, and definitely return!

Oxtails were flavorful, the beef patties were seasoned to perfection, I’d want them baked a little longer (personal preference). Cabbage was a bit too spicy for me and the Mac was pretty good. The service provided was welcoming and professional. OH AND THE LEMONADE… HUNNYYYY it’s I drunk it so fast lol
