Top-rated craft brewery in Connecticut featuring a full kitchen and a vibrant taproom. Open for lunch and dinner, we serve up small-batch beers, craft cocktails, artisan pizzas, foldie sandwiches, smoked wings, and more. Come for the drinks—stay for the flavor and atmosphere!

2.7.26 what a great local gem and so close to FSA too. The Blackout sour is absolutely amazing and I bought some to bring to Superbowl party. This open spacious venue is great to hang out, grab a beer, watch a game, enjoy time with family or friends. Plenty of parking.

Came here for a group event and was pleasantly surprised. It’s in a commercial plaza, but once inside, the vibe is modern, colorful, and lively without trying too hard. The beer list was solid, but the real surprise? The pizza. This wasn’t just brewery filler food — it was legit pizzeria-level, with a crispy crust and quality toppings. The pepperoni with hot honey was the standout. If you’re hungry while sipping, you’re in good hands.

Great new brewery in town. I didn’t know Transcend existed until I stumbled upon it on a web search. The space is really cool. Came here on my Bday and they have beers like IPA’s, lagers, and fruit beers. Would be a great spot for a party rental (there’s an additional large room for that). I didn’t try their food but I hear good things about their pizza, wings, and sandwiches. Also family friendly with a kids menu and some games to use. Outdoor patio too. Recommended.

Dropped into Transcend Beer Crafters recently. Good space, easy to hang out in. The beer is clearly made by people who know what they’re doing – the IPAs are clean, the sours aren’t overdone, and the pilsner is solid. The pizza is legit and not an afterthought. If you’re in Plainville and want a brewery that’s consistent and not gimmicky, this one does the job.

The sours are DELICIOUS! I don’t know how they capture the flavors! Peach ring is just as addictive as eating a bag of peach rings lol

My 4th time here and the 4th being blown away. Every beer tastes just like they say and it’s mind blowing. From a juicy IPA to a Skittles sour – I tasted the rainbow

Absolutely love this place! The atmosphere is always warm, welcoming, and super laid-back. It’s perfect for hanging out with friends or unwinding after a long day. The food is consistently delicious, and they do an awesome job with their events; there’s always something fun going on. Fuego is my favorite brew. So flavorful and refreshing. If you’re looking for a great local brewery with good vibes, great food, and amazing beer, this is the spot!

I’ve been to the vast majority of breweries and beer bars around this state over the years and can easily say that Transcend is worth the visit time and time again.
Their food is great, they have a full bar for your non-beer drinking friends, and plenty and space and TVs. You can’t go wrong with this spot or the excellent quality beer.
From an IPA lover who will drink down any of their sours.

Transcend is one of the best breweries to come to CT! Great vibes, great space; I’ve been when it’s completely packed and when it’s less busy, and had great experiences every time. Lots of great beers to choose from (and other non-beer drinks) and delicious food. Will be coming back regularly! Hoping the good reviews don’t make it too packed all the time
