WOW SO GOOD! My families first time here. We had the polenta crusted calamari (gluten free!), Caesar salad (fabulous), sausage and pepper regular pie, and lastly vodka Detroit GLUTEN FREE HOMEMADE PIZZA!!!!!!! Everything was so delicious and amazing. Service included. Not many tables so best to make a reservation. We will all be back soon!

We had such a great experience here. The vibe alone is worth a visit — black brick walls, a chalk-style mural of a woman that feels artsy and effortless, and just an overall chill, welcoming atmosphere.
The Detroit-style pizza was outstanding — perfectly crisp, with crispy cheese edges, flavorful, and appetizers served in portions that are ideal for sharing. Everything we tried was fresh and clearly made with care.
What really set this place apart, though, was the service.
Friendly, attentive, and genuinely willing to go the extra mile without being overbearing. You can tell they want you to have a great experience.
Amazing food, great portions, cool space, and top-notch service.

If you’re looking the best Detroit style pizza in Sarasota, look no further! If you’re a fan of Italian food, gorgonzola cheese or vodka sauce why not combine them all in to one story telling pizza! This pizza was amazing! We ordered the vodka Detroit style pizza and added the gorgonzola sauce and sausage and it rocked our world! We started with calamari as an appetizer and the breading was spectacular! Thank you Victoria for the speedy service

Different take on pizza and very delicious. A bit expensive but everything we ate was delicious.

Caesar salad with the croutons smashed up was delicious. Something I don’t normally keep on my salads.

Cheese square style has cheese crusted crust which is delicious. I like the pepperoni without the honey. It’s weird to have sweet sauce.

The sandwich bread for the handhelds were amazing and the seasoning on the fries were great.

Calamari is meh. I’d skip.

Wings were good but nothing to stand out. Also it’s just wings.

This place is such a gem! Our server made it even better! Victoria was so attentive, kind, and knowledgeable. We will definitely be requesting her when we return.

We had the classic with pepperoni and a Caesar salad, both were AMAZING!!!

The food was absolutely amazing. It was unfortunate their was only one waitress. She did a good job being all by herself but she had a lot of tables. The music was too loud which I didnt like but other than that the atmosphere was good. The food made the place. I recommend the supreme 12″. If you like Detroit pizza they have it here also. My husband loved it.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Hands-down the Best Italian Food in Sarasota!

I visited Sarasota for a month and had just about given up on finding good pizza, after trying three different spots that all missed the mark. Then I stumbled across Tralia on DoorDash, and it was a total game-changer. I ordered the Classic Detroit Pizza, assuming that Sarasota maybe just didn’t “do” pizza right. Turns out, the other places don’t, and thankfully, Tralia absolutely does.

My best friend came to visit for three nights, and we ended up eating at Tralia every single day. Yes, it’s that good. So good that she took 4 pizzas on the plane with her back to Texas. HA!

Some of what we tried:
• Caesar Salad – Fresh, crisp, perfectly balanced dressing
• Hot Honey Pizza – Sweet, spicy, and totally addictive
• Detroit Classic – Pillowy crust, out of this world red sauce, and just the right amount of cheese that crisps along the edges in the most magical way. **Do yourself a favor and get a side of the Fennel Pollen Ranch for dipping
• Ricotta Meatballs – Tender, juicy, full of flavor, nestled on the most delicate plantain goodness and topped with their fantastic marinara sauce. If they haven’t sold out when you are there, this dish is a must-have
• Calamari – crispy and seasoned to perfection

The cocktails were fantastic, and the staff was so friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. You can tell they care about the food and the customer experience. Major shoutout to the chef, who is insanely talented. If I could, I’d open a Tralia in North Texas. You are sitting on a gold mine!!!

If I had to change one thing, I’d say the Cabernet wine selection could be better…but honestly, that’s just me trying to find something to critique.

Final Thoughts:
Tralia is hands-down the best Italian restaurant I’ve ever been to. If you’re in Sarasota and you like pizza, pasta, or anything Italian, do yourself a favor and eat here.

✅ HIGHLY recommend to anyone with taste buds.

Good pizza. HORRIBLE service!! Place is too small and the booths are so uncomfortable and not a kid friendly place at all! Got there promptly for our reservation, we wanted a booth for three people that we asked for on the reservation..when we got there they said they overbooked their reservations and they were a little behind, but then in the same breath, they sat people that did not have a reservation at all so right away I felt super disrespected, and then they sat us in a booth where my toddler kept sliding off dangerously because the booth is so high up off the ground then I asked to be moved to the corner booth, and after some hesitation from them, I finally just made the decision myself to get us up and move us to the booth because I have had enough and the waitress was absolutely horrible. She never even asked my husband if he wanted a second glass of wine or checked on us throughout our meal we had to constantly ask for her service. She never even asked if my child would like a glass of water, thank god I keep a cup for her in my bag. I don’t know her name and she didn’t really introduce herself and she came over to the table super rudely when we first got seated, only way to identify her I is she has tattoos on her neck, especially the back of her neck to be honest both waitresses were horrible and they didn’t even provide new plates when we ordered more food and I had to ask for a plate for my child like come on now… Unfortunately, because of how bad it was, we will never be back here and then at the end of the meal she tried to be super nice because of course she wanted a tip the waitress.. and then told us to wait a little bit because our brownie was coming out for our anniversary. Let me just tell you that brownie was absolutely horrible. It was cold. It was thick and crumbly and you should be ashamed at putting out food like that and your macaroni and cheese with truffle was absolutely horrible as well. Never again. Thanks for nothing! And NOT a kid friendly place!

I have never had better pizza in my life. The Detroit deep dish style speaks for itself no matter the type of deep dish pizza you select. Our personal favorite? The MVP (has marinara, vodka, and pesto sauce) they do not skimp on the amount of sauce/toppings/service. We frequently pick up and take it to go but we’ve also had great experiences dining in. Not only is the pizza amazing but I’ve had countless great appetizers also. And the provolone rings on the “secret menu” just divine – they make them in house and not out of a freezer bag. I couldn’t recommend this place more and everyone that I’ve convinced to try it also agrees!

My wife and I sampled the menu as we have friends that told us to come here. We started with the truffle mac and cheese and that was very good. Then we ordered the detroit-style pizza because I love it and it was exactly what a Detroit style pizza should be. My wife didn’t care for it but she doesn’t care for thick crust pizza. However if you like detroit-style pizza it was spot-on. Amazing sweet acidic sauce and we had that with cupped pepperoni hot honey and Italian sausage. The other Pizza we ordered which is pictured was the Napoleon style thin crust with spinach and artichoke and it was quite amazing. My wife absolutely loved this and so did I and we love Napoleon style pizza and regularly visit another place for Napoleon style pizza. The price is fair here the service was great and you can tell that the servers actually care about the place. Our server Bree(not sure of spelling) was attentive and very knowledgeable. We each had a drink and the tab for everything with tip was under $100. We could have easily fed four people with the amount of food. The only criticism I have is the menu is printed with the smallest font on earth. If the owner would print it on the front and back of the piece of paper then you might be able to read it. However, we’re looking forward to our next trip there. Thank God it’s in the neighborhood and there’s no smoking unlike too many places in Gulf Gate. ♥️
