Fun place especially for breakfast.

The restaurant is setup like a railroad car right at some train tracks in an old part of Burlington.

If you like Bloody Mary’s this is your place, see photos. There is meat and veggies on a stick that can feed one person. The menu is good sized but not too much. The food presentation and taste is very good. The cook really knows how to fry eggs. My over easy eggs were perfect.

We ordered eggs Benedict, chicken fried steak (I was raised in Texas and can’t pass on CFS ). That said I wish cooks and chefs would make country gravy without sausage for chicken fried steak. Just not the same work sausage.

Tables can hold large parties of 10. Lots of locals in and out for breakfast. Give this place a try.

I love this place!! It is so interesting. The food is amazing and the drinks are perfect. The staff is above and beyond excellent. There are absolutely gorgeous booths and benches that are live edge wood. The masonry inside is very cool. We had a greatI time. Will definately be back.

This place is fantastic. The service was superb and kind. The food, while slightly above normal pricing speaks for itself. The quality is instantly noticed, and the flavors are perfectly balanced. I will absolutely be back here to try more when im back in town. Im glad I found this place. Thank you for the great experience

Great place for a evening meal on a cool wet night.
I had the Chipotle shrimp special and a margarita.
The shrimp was well prepared with a flavorable spicy flair. The tall Marg was perfect match to the meal. I would recomend this place to anyone looking for a memorable outing.

The food was great! We had the calamari appetizer, which was cooked perfectly – tender and lightly breaded. For our main dish we split the Train Wreck Burger with fries. My husband pronounced it the best burger he has had. I agreed. Service was good. The place was full so that might be why our waitress missed refilling our drinks until we asked, but she was very good otherwise.

This place was excellent! They completely rely on local providers, so much so that even the root beer (seen in the picture) was from nearby Mukilteo. And while I really tend to hate spicy food, I kept putting myself back into the jalapeno infused ceviche appetizer, it was just that good.

In fact, everything we had (except the oddly only adequate clam chowder), was exceptional. But both my wife and I would highly recommend the extraordinary elk burger, which even beat out the very tasty mushroom burger she had. The elk was just so lean, that even with a sauced up burger, there was no dripping out the sides.

I wish we weren’t just passing through, and if we do retire in Washington, we might just have to drive out of our way occasionally to eat here.

Order was to go. Both of us had brisket sandwich and it was fabulous. Husband got side of potato salad which was really odd. No discernible potatoes as it was more of a mash and had an odd flavor of perhaps wheat bread. Nothing traditional here, not able to eat. I had the clam chowder, the flavor was very good, but veggies and potatoes were under cooked, bordering on crunchy. And clams were so rubbery, it was like old chewing gum, I couldn’t chew them. Undercooked and over cooked, weird. Will try again, but with different sides. We’re foodies, husband retired chef and I grew up in family restaurant, so we kind of know what we’re talking about.

This place is good. Korean pork tacos have a kick and are pretty large. I also ordered a fresh squeezed grapefruit and prosecco drink which was refreshing. Service was great and quick. Not too spendy. I’d say average.

I am not a local, so checked reviews before coming here. When I saw 4.7 rating out of 3000 reviews I thought it should be super nice. I had a train wreck burger and fries. Bun was like glued to my mouth, it was soft but that made it hard to chew. Beef patty was tasteless. Fries on the side were over fried, or they fried it like regular but since they were so thin the effect was like over fried.

If I could, I would rate the food minus not even 1 star.

My wife and I had a wonderful Sunday afternoon lunch at Train Wreck Bar and Grill. The fried coconut shrimp was succulent and delicious and was accompanied by great sweet potato fries. The grilled cheese sandwich my wife enjoyed included generous amounts of multiple cheeses on fresh toasted bread; she described it as the best grilled cheese sandwich she has ever had. The thick creamy tomato soup which accompanied the sandwich had a delightful tanginess to it.
Our server Nina made us feel like family. She was attentive, knowledgeable about all of the menu items, prompt and efficient with serving our meals, and reflected an enthusiasm and endearing interest in her customers that added immeasurably to our experience.
We dined in the room at the back of the restaurant, which has a huge window that brightened the whole space. It was quieter than the front dining room, despite most of the tables being occupied, which made it easier for us to converse than might have been the case in the bar and dining room up front.
If you haven’t tried the Train Wreck, you are missing something special!
