After many years celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and special occasions, today we came to say goodbye to Trails End. This restaurant started as a buffet with a variety of options and a delicious bread pudding as one of dessert options. After Covid became Family Style, but the food continued been very tasteful. We will definitely miss this place✨

Trail’s End has been converted to quick service and grab and go eatery. Pizza, hot and cold grab and go items like whole chickens and sides. There’s also a mobile order menu with even more options like family meals. I recommend the fried chicken, it’s been a staple here for years.

Family Style breakfast. Everyone was SO NICE. Also very attentive to some gluten allergies at our table. My favorite part of the meal was the cheesy potatoes…after the Mickey shaped waffles of course ☺️

Disappointed in the new format of the restaurant. Did away with the family style and changed the selections for the take out.

This is a must do at Fort Wilderness! It’s a shame it’s closing. I understand breakfast buffets are expensive to produce but not everyone is in a mad dash to rope drop. This is truly one of the best buffets I’ve had. They are only missing the old school thermos of coffee and an enamel-line tin cup!

We were very excited to eat here because before covid we used to love it. We went for dinner this time and while the chicken, corn and potatoes were OK the rest of the food wasn’t. The brisket was the worst! It was extremely tough to the point it was mostly inedible. The green beans were almost raw, the corn was cold. Service was good except we told him no tomatoes in the salad becuase im allergic and it still had tomatoes in it. The restaurant was really cold too. I get it’s Florida but there are times like on our visit where the Temps drop into the 30s and they should have a way to heat the building insteadof freezing their guests. Desserts were ok.

Terrible option. Went here for breakfast on 8-27-2023. This is a grab-n-go place now. You place your order at the register and then take a seat and wait for your food to be delivered. They have pagers, but seemed to be confused about where the food went when a lot of tables were occupied. The dining room was about 80% full and almost all tables were waiting on food. The food was not good. Our food arrived after a 30 minute wait- I timed it. That is not an exaggeration. There was a couple who did a mobile order and waited the same amount of time.

This restaurant is a must every time we visit Disney. They no longer have the buffet style, the food is brought to you. It is still all you an eat. Delicious and reasonably priced for a Disney restaurant.

For the price it’s not a bad place to eat. The rolls they bring out with the strawberry butter are delicious. However the rest of the food is just average. The eggs were powdered and not good. Everything tasted like it was from a box or something you get at your local store and unfreeze.

Food was good, not Texas brisket, Carolina pulled pork or Nashville dry rub smoked chicken but good. Sides where very good and fresh. Salad was fresh and vinegrette dressing was very nice and lite. Over all its not cheap as it is one price.. but for Disney was not outrageous and is all you care to eat and as usual was very catering (as usual) to our grandson’s food allergies.
