Barstool Pizza Review – Trading Post Lounge (Bourne, MA)

This is a great bar pie. My only thing would be the one towel on it. It’s a little bit like a little bit greasy but still great.

TPL has climbed the pantheon of South Shore Bar Pizza to now be considered one of the very best. I personally place it at number two, just behind Lynwood Cafe.

In town for work. A co- worker told me to try this place. Grabbed a couple pies for the road and it did not disappoint! If you ever find yourself in Bourne, MA, you must make a stop by this lil hole in the wall and grab a pie… Or 3 ; ) Buttery, crispy crust. Not shy on the toppings. The sauce… Perfect! They only make one size. 10″ personal size. Trust. Worth it. So good!

We used TPL for our wedding on 9/13/25 in Harwich Port. They delivered pizza with their new truck for our cocktail hour. They were professional and laid back and communication was easy. My friends are still talking about the pizza. Great experience, would highly recommend

I have nothing bad to say about this place. It was packed and full of people. Super nice atmosphere and the food was amazing. The server gave us a few pizza because THEY didn’t like the way it came out. We didn’t mind the pizza the way it looked but good on them for realizing their own quality. Learned what Laced Pizza is and i love it. Will be returning soon!

It’s me and my family’s favorite go to pizza spot. Atmosphere is pub like with a bar and pool table along with plenty of tvs for all your favorite sports. All the food and drinks are delicious, not just the pizza. The staff is very friendly and attentive. We highly recommend the T.P.L.

Great bar pie with lots of choices for toppings. Cold beers in pints and pitchers. Was busy but everything was served without delay. First time. I’d definitely go back.

Finally made it to the Trading Post Lounge—a bar pizza spot people have been raving about for years. It was packed on a snowy Saturday afternoon—very noisy, but full of local charm. The menu is small, prices are great, and the neighborhood vibe is real. Our waitress Danielle was exceptional—I don’t know how she manages that crowd and noise while still providing such attentive, friendly service. Unfortunately, the pizza was just okay and not the caliber of bar pizza I’m used to. Service was 10. Impressive.

If you are looking for Pizza and Wings and are near Bourne there is no comparable place nearby. Bar pizza (w/laced crust) is excellent, wings are more sweet than spicy but flavorful. Have burgers, sandwiches and salads as well, but would say the Pizza is the big draw.

No notes. This place is everything I wanted it to be. Divey, simple menu they execute perfectly, cheap beer, and good tunes. Knowing it’s the same folks as the Lobster Trap means they care about the quality and execution of the food.

Stopped by TPL for some takeout. Went with a modified Heavy Hitter. Swapped out the hamburg for sausage. Thought it was excellent. Have sat at the bar for pizza and beer previously. Had an IPA from Vermont Foam Brewers IPA called Dead Flowers. Their bar style pan pizza is excellent. Usually get cupped pepperoni, crumbled bacon, crumbled linguica. Have it cooked well done “crispy” with laced edges. Good combination. Very good for bar pizza. Likely one of the better bar pies I’ve had.

Called for pickup order. Two pizzas and two sandwiches. They give me a time I get there about 10 minutes after the time. I pay my money. And then I wait for 25 minutes and then I asked what’s going on and they said that a hot dog was cooked wrong. I waited another 20 minutes to finally get it. So I paid $46 to wait 46 minutes inside the restaurant for an order that should have been ready when I got there. super disappointed and really should have gotten my money back. Do better
