The food was outstanding! We tried every restaurant open on the island, and this place was the best! The food was so flavorful and cooked to perfection! I ordered the macadamia crusted grouper with mango salsa, and my boyfriend ordered the crab stuffed shrimp with lobster ravioli. We shared each dish. The dessert was fantastic as well, lava cake with ice cream. Great selection of bourbon and great service. White table cloths, live music, large dining area. I highly recommend this place over any other restaurant on the island!!

We enjoyed a delicious dinner tonight, starting with the crab corn bisque. Our entrees were Sea Scallops with Lobster Ravioli and 1/2 rack Baby Back Ribs. Everything was full of flavor and fresh. The ambience was nice for indoor dining. Didn’t attempt outdoor with the noseeums this year.

Traders Restaurant is open and ready to serve. I did not try the food, but went in to the gift shop. The items are unique and beautiful. You will find: necklaces, puzzles, candles, art and many more options. I would highly suggest coming in for a bite to eat and shop while supporting the businesses on Sanibel Island.

This is a huge restaurant with live outdoor music and was quite busy. The walk up to the restaurant is nice with the path all light up at night. This restaurant is one of the more expensive options on the island. The food was interesting and inventive, but felt a little off. The lobster bisque was more on the watery side. The scallops had a little grit to them as well. The sea bass special was well cooked. The service was excellent.

This is a very fine place to dine! The menu is good! Lots of fish! I tried the tuna which is listed as an appetizer with seaweed and vegetable slaw! It was excellent! Loved it! My daughter had pasta with tomatoes and artichokes. She opted out of the shrimp since she’s vegetarian. It was excellent. Our friends had red snapper and mahi mahi which they both said were excellent! The key lime pie was delicious which tasted like it was flavored with honey! This is a wonderful place for a date or to have a nice dinner with friends! There’s outside dining as well, and they did have some music tonight!

Came in tonight to listen to Danny Morgan. Luke was our bartender/server. He fluidly told us all the specials for the night and had the best personality. Always checked on us. Hope you have the pleasure of neing served by him. The mussels in cream sauce was unbelievably delicious.
